RICH DAD POOR DAD BOOK
SUMMARY
In this book, Robert Kiyosaki talks about his life and shows that the things
we might think are the keys to success (like working hard, going to school,
getting a Ph.D., etc.) are not the real keys to getting rich. Robert's father
was a very successful person who won many academic awards and was
ranked number one in the educational system of the state of Hawaii.
However, he left some debts unpaid when he died. On the other hand,
Robert's mentor, his best friend's father, never finished the eighth grade and
was the wealthiest man in the state. This sounds like a real-life story about
money. This is because schools don't teach us how to handle money. Even in
"finance" classes at the university, you only learn general, academic, and
theoretical things. If you don't know how to handle money, it doesn't matter
if you have a college degree and good grades.
This book is about how we think and focuses on our thoughts about money
and the actions we take.
