STAYING OPEN TO CHANGE Rut Frohlich of Kundalini Blessings shows us why the ability to change your point of view can bring freedom to our daily lives.

I

'm sure many other working from home parents will relate to my present situation. Do you often find yourself, 11.30pm at night, finally getting around to starting that important job that you have had in your note book for some good amount of time? At least your mind has had a great opportunity to slowly but surely build a case on it. While craving stillness and quiet ‘me’ time we stretch ourselves like an elastic rubber band a little bit more each time to provide for everyone in our household. Somehow, whilst our body is longingly reaching for sleep, we find a way tap into our creative potential to deliver our hearts work. Over the years I observed that even though our mind may tell us we are alone in our experiences we never actually are. The opposite is usually true. For example, so many of us are experiencing a feeling of our own minds being fragmented into all the tasks we need to complete without having any real impact of action. Health is ignored and our bodies pushed to the edge. We neglect our relationship to the body and fail to identify its continuous stream of messages. Sometimes it's like our very spirit is calling out, desperately longing to be heard. How often do we feel like we have gone numb inside or simply turned into a 'doing robot that' has forgotten how

to be. Thriving to be happy all the time puts so much expectation and pressure on our day. It can seem like nothing is ever good enough. You may be surprised to hear that essentially stress is not bad. Life will be full of changes, challenges and upheavals. The question is- can we adapt and then grow in the eye of stress or will we forever feel burdened like heavy bricks are resting on our shoulders? It all depends on your sense of self and being able to change your view point. I am passionate about providing a space where you can come and practice exactly that. So, the next time life asks you to stretch that little more, with your practice of support in place, you will know how to handle it. Take a breath, remember you are so much stronger than you think you are, come from choice, set an intent and stand in your knowing that you have the capacity to adapt and grow. A balanced, meaningful life living your purpose is possible. My offering is to grow together. One step at a time.
