COMPASSION’S Rethink
describe what Compassion does to a stranger given a space and words?
through typography that I did in reflecting on my mission trip with Compassion over people’s views and share my perspective of the work that organizations like Compaspoverty. The poster and brochure created in these assignments is used to say that when God is at work through the work of Compassion, there is hope and you can par-
help people or kids in poverty, it is always a picture of starving children or families insights a feeling of sadness and pity on them leaving them with no diginity in order guilt to give. However, with Compassion they take a different approach, it is one that future and hope for families. In keeping with the brand image, I portrayed it so that involved not out of guilt but hope to help change people. The situation may not be hope through sponsorship, it can help give the support needed for a family who is just able to see what Compassion does through the local churches, I wanted to share viewers to ignite
a sense of “I want to get involved too!”
Compassion and what they do there in Mexico, it has helped in being able to gage share their brand effectively. And with the interactive features of hyperlinks to difversions of both materials, people looking can dive deeper with different resources.
POSTCARD SERIES
The making of these postcards stemmed from my own seasons with mental health. Where a big chunk of it was wrestling with feelings of anxiety.
ANXIOUS
ANXIETY DOESN’T HAVE THE UPPER HAND
There were times I would allow these emotions and the thoughts that stemmed from it to dictate my standing in my relationship with God and my identity in Him. But as I continue to walk with Him, I know that when I do feel these emotions I can give it to Him in prayer and trust that He hears and answers. And in doing so and meditating on His WORD in faith He gives me peace, silencing the raging war in my mind. - Psalm 23
“ This series is made for those who are struggling with mental health and faith. It acts as an Encouragement and reminder to put your focus back on god in the midst of these feelings, standing firm in the Truths of God’s word. ”
