TAEYONG, along with JENO and Seulgi, was introduced as an SMROOKIES member on December 3, 2013.[1] He has been trained in singing, rapping, and dancing in SM.

TAEYONG joined in 2012 and debuted in 2016. Before joining SM Entertainment, he dreamt of being a firefighter. TAEYONG’s members said they can’t imagine him being anything other than an idol.

Casting story

Street-casted in front of his high school, he was persuaded by an SM employee by buying him toast. He came in late for 30 minutes for his audition in Apgujeong-dong and got lost because he originally thought about the employee who had said that he was to audition into the big three company and he understood it as MBC, KBS, and SBS, who were the three major broadcasting

companies and not entertainment companies. He sang the National hymn of South Korea and did a bit of popping dance and got accepted. He was once discouraged and given up upon by his dance teacher but he emerged as the face of the group, center, main dancer, main rapper, main visual, sub vocalist, composer, producer, lyricist, choreographer, and leader of NCT.

Dressed in the Spanish luxury brand’s clothes, the rapper wore a streetwear-inspired ensemble complete with neutral tones and Chelsea boots. The “Long Flight” singer was styled in a tan leather jacket with the designer brand’s logo embossed on it, worn slightly off the shoulders, layered overtop a black tank top. On bottom, the hitmaker wore long black leather shorts with a pleasing patent leather sheen. The NCT 127 leader accessorized his look with silver accessories for good measure. THE ART OF FASHION

On October 20, 2017, NCT’s Taeyong, Johnny, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winiwin and Ten attended 3 different sessions of the ‘2018 S / S Seoul Fashion Week’ fashion show. Boy group from SM Entertainment appeared in a dark style dominated by street style, only Doyoung wore a white shirt.

The members appeared with different concept fashion style but still giving a matching vibe. Johnny with a beige long coat, Winwin appeared like Steve Jobs, Taeyong and Jaehyun wearing matching breasted jackets, while Ten and Doyoung were seen wearing a Charm brand output suit.

Not finished in day one, Taeyong and Jaehyun came again in the next day to represent the group, with a monochrome-themed outfit. Taeyong combines a tassel accented jacket with a white shirt and black pants.

NCT is a South Korean boy group consisting of 23 members divided into four different sub-units: NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream and WayV. The group’s styling is trend-based and fashion-forward, often blurring the lines of high fashion with streetwear to create a unique sense of style for the overall group. Since their debut in 2016, NCT has continued to break barriers in the music and fashion industries alongside fellow groups like BTS, Twice, Blackpink and EXO.

Every member of NCT has their own unique and fashionable sense of style. With so many members between the units, each has their own charms that showcase each person’s personality, and NCTzens probably couldn’t pick who was the best. Yet, when NCT 127 was asked, they all went for leader Taeyong.

The members recently appeared on a video on the TEDDY ISLAND YouTube channel where they spoke about fashion, tried on some clothes, and did some designing for themselves.

Before they got into teams, the members had to answer some fashion-related questions. The first one was “Which member has the best sense of style?”

Most of the members knew their answer straight away, pointing to leader Taeyong!

Although Taeyong seemed to blush at the idea, there is no denying that his good looks are second to none and dazzling. Even when he tried to move on to another question, Jungwoo pointed out that their leader had gone very red because he couldn’t handle their sweetness. Luckily, he accepted their compliments in the end.

Along with the rest of the members, Taeyong definitely shines with his sense of fashion that perfectly complements his talent, charisma, and personality. You can watch the whole video below.
