Synopsis While attempting to make the last days of the restaurant’s lobsters more bearable and ‘humane’ by feeding them, the newly hired chef assistant intern gets interrupted by one of the older chefs who. The chef grabs one of the lobsters, raises it as high as possible and cruelly drops it on top of the others. At the sight of it, the intern, snaps, shouts, swears and kicks out the chef for a short while before resuming their service, slightly more uncomfortable than before.

Story Treatment The story follows Ann the purple kitten, a newly hired part time chef assistant intern, in her struggles at work. The animation starts with Ann at the beginning of her shift, struggling to open the heavy doors of the kitchen from the staff room and falling into embarrassment with witnesses everywhere. Starting her shift by checking the fridge’s contents she stumbles upon the last 3 lobsters in a frozen tray and feeling sorry for them she decides to try to do something nice for the poor little creatures. After seeking advice from the head chef, Brad the blue bear, Ann acts upon it only to get interrupted half way through by Dan, the cruel orange fox. While Ann leaves the shot looking for bread to feed the lobsters, Dan comes in and sees the tray just sitting on the counter and decides that it would be fun to mess around with the helpless crustaceans by picking one up and dropping it over the others, causing them pain. At the sight of this action Ann stands up against the chef by kicking him out of the kitchen.

Simple animal humanoid characters with flat colours and no shading will be animated with Photoshop, the background will be created in Photoshop and/or TV Paint. The overall animation will heavily use Photoshop with slight influences from TV Paint and After Effects.

The film starts is using the kitchen as the only space of action with a brief shot of the staff room at the beginning.
