03 In the year of 2017, I was deeply fascinated by a TV drama, named as Full House, from the Chinese mainland. It tells the story of several families living in quadrangle dwellings of Beijing, over the decades, their lives have undergone different changes as the country’s destiny has changed, so this drama immediately brings the audience into Chinese people’s lives in the middle and late 20th century. And I couldn't help but indulge in the courtyard life in that era, the children playing in the streets were always so naive and lively, the smell of meals from the kitchens was always smelt like home, and the elders talking about family gossip at the front of doors were always so talkative, etc.

However, in the reality of the 21st century, the children are stuck with the thrill of electronic devices, the adults are enjoying the convenience brought by “e le me” (a kind of fast food platform), the elderly sitting alone in the home are feeling the richness of the world through the TV screen, etc. Behind these comfortable lives, human beings are feeling lonely in their souls increasingly.

With the acceleration of the globalization process, more and more high-rise buildings have poured into cities. Although high-rise residential buildings have solved the living problems of a large number of people, they have also led to a reduction in urban public space and destroyed urban fabric.

And traditional communities. The structure of urban public space has changed, losing the warm picture of the front door and the back door, causing many problems such as indifference among residents. In the face of these phenomena and problems, I started from the social and spiritual needs of people, researched Chongqing's local unique activities and unique spaces, and saved these traditional and unique memories.

The construction of buildings affects people's behavior,so,what happens when people's behavior affects buildings? Based on this, we will pay special attention to the influence of human death on buildings, which are taboo and repugnant after happening this kind of death. How can we redefine these houses by their recipients and try to change the perception of people who don't accept them? Behind these events, there are some drawbacks of social structure. The cognition and concern of stigmatized house is a metaphor for the society changes its standpoint on marginalized groups.The changing of the public’s views on these houses is a focus on social structure, that has the effect of giving a satirical strategy for these houses, an architectural agent about telling and questing death, a system of indifference to death and social reflection brought by death, which has been regarded as an important reflection of Japanese social structure.

Through marking the stigmatized house of the different areas in Tokyo,we can see that the number of stigmatized house is relatively large, but they are evenly distributed to some extent.This shows that stigmatized house is a common phenomenon in Tokyo, which helps to eliminate the differences caused by regional factors such as economic policies in different regions.

It can be seen from the situation of death that the causes of deaths are vary with different area of Tokyo.

However, most people of these deaths belong to marginalized groups such as low-income and receiving social subsidies,etc. These marginalized groups have less social attention until they die at home. Therefore, Japan's social factors are the direct cause of stigmatized house, which will help us to implement following study deeply.

According to the research, in Japan, most people refuse to rent a house when they have learned it's stigmatized house. However, it is interesting that a small number of people accept it for various reasons. We have then focused on the attitude of the recipient and the non recipient towards stigmatized house.

Thinking Stigmatized house reflects the relatively common social phenomenon in Japan.

To some extent, the society's ignorance and indifference to the marginal groups are reflected in this social phenomenon (stigmatized house). The agents who sell stigmatized houses are more willing to collect these cheap houses and sell them at a high price.The location information and space function of the agents links the agents and these houses in a better way.

I marked the location of stigmatized house in an area and correlated the locations to different quantities, they were roughly in the center of the vacant position. The location relationship of the agents guides our final project site, which can better cover the stigmatized houses in the area.At the same time, the function of the agents guides some functions of the building.

Return to the thought of stigmatized house. We analyzed modes of conducting of curiosity hunters in stigmatized house. They pay more attention to life-related furniture, calendars recording time and date, or death- related objects (such as the garbage left by defunct), etc., so they stay longer. At the same time, they used cameras to record stigmatized house.

The length of their stay in the house expresses their concern and importance for the space, so the space under the lens is the real feedback of their seek novelty behavior.

Then, we think about how to reflect this behavior into the spatial model.

IKEA is a good business model. Some of the behaviors of people in IKEA are similar to those of curiosity hunters. For example, IKEA's space is focused on furniture,similarly, the focus of curiosity hunters on the stigmatized house is also life-related objects; different people's stay time and different actions in IKEA reflect the importance of space; most people have the habit of using mobile camera to record objects in IKEA. Therefore, the research on IKEA, a real business model, is conducive to the feedback of what we call the seek novelty behavior, and reappearing this behavior in the way of buildings.

I extracted the objects that the curiosity hunter stayed in stigmatized house for a long time. These objects reflect the death events and stories behind the space. I hope to use these objects as a narrative way of space.

[3]Space equivalent transformation is my attempt to reflect seek novelty behavior to the architectural space. I summarized the importance of space behavior based on the same space by equivalent replacement (these importance degrees are summarized by the above methods and can reflect the spatial behavior), and project the space of stigmatized house to IKEA, the real architectural space. This is the basis for the next spatial transformation.

I summed up these data in the plane of IKEA and stigmatized house through these studies, and transform the two spaces equally based on the importance of space. There are two variables of the importance of space, namely, the length of people's stay and behavior.

By summarizing the above methods, I mapped the image of the curiosity hunter to a spatial model, which reflects the behavior of the curiosity hunter.

This space stretches a plane space according to the different images and behaviors. The longer the stay time is, the larger the space gap is. The stretching angle of the space reflects the vision and action of the curiosity hunter. The location of the spatial action corresponds to the real spatial location relationship, so the space reflects the behavior of the curiosity hunter.
