Along with the announcement of the anime’s release month, two additional main voice actors have been announced.Yui Ishikawa will play Shiori Oumi, a mermaid who seeks out the flesh and blood of Hinako, and Fairouz Ai will play Miko Yashiro, a kind-hearted girl who is a child hood friend of Hinako.
The new trailer reveals the voices of the three main VAs, including Reina Ueda as Hinako Yaotose, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the world of the anime.

Century-Spanning Saga “Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho” Kicks-Off HIDIVE’s Spring Season on March 31
HOUSTON, TX — March 5, 2025 — Spring arrives early with today’s announcement from AMC Networks’ HIDIVE that the new super natural historical fantasy series Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho will launch the upcoming simulcast season on the anime streaming service. Based on the popular fantasy manga & novel series created by Motoo Nakanishi, Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho will kick off HIDIVE’s exclusive Spring 2025 line-up when it debuts with a special 60-minute first episode on Monday, March 31 at 8:30 am Eastern, which will be followed thereafter with new 30-minute episodes every Monday at 11:00 am Eastern. In addition, as part of today’s announcement, HIDIVE released the official English subtitled trailer for the show.
Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho is adapted from Motoo Nakanishi’ s original novel and manga series. The 14-volume light novel series of Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho is published by Futabasha, and the now seven-volume-long manga series written by Motoo Nakanishi and illustrated by Yū Satomi, which launched in September 2021 is published under Futabasha’s Action Comics label. English language versions of both the manga and light novel are available from Seven Seas Entertainment.
The anime series is directed by Kazuya Aiura along with writing by Deko Akao, character design by Taro Ikegami and production by Yokohama Animation Laboratory. Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentosho stars Taku Yashiro as Jinta, Reina Ueda as Suzune and Saori Hayami as Shirayuki.

First International Post-Event
Bandai Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Weekly Shonen Jump Editorial Department in charge of ONE PIECE and Toei Animation Inc., hosted a large-scale event, “ONE PIECE DAY Dallas –Card Game Celebration–,” for ONE PIECE fans in the U.S. on March 8 and 9, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.
As the first-ever “ONE PIECE DAY” held overseas, the event featured the global opening of the “ONE PIECE CARD GAME Championship 25-26”. During the event, over 10,000 attendees enjoyed exhibitions that showcased figures, merchandise, ONE PIECE CARD GAME illustrations, and official reproduced Manga artwork. The event offered memorable experiences for fans, with special guests from Japan and the U.S., live performances by musical artists, and more programs celebrating all things ONE PIECE.
DAY 1 Highlights
● The world’s first Offline Regionals for ONE PIECE CARD GAME Championship 25-26 began.
● Brina Palencia, the English voice of Chopper, appeared for a special after-talk following the ONE PIECE Anime Screening.
● Hiroaki Hirata, the Japanese voice of Sanji, demonstrated his craft live onstage with an amazing voice-over performance.
● A special new campaign movie of the ONE PIECE CARD GAME premiered.
The World’s First “ONE PIECE CARD GAME Championship 25-26”
ONE PIECE CARD GAME Championship 25-26 Offline Regionals drew over 3,000 participants over the two-day event. Fans from across North America gathered to compete in intense battles, celebrating their shared passion for the game.
With an onstage greeting from Chopper, in the form of a costumed mascot, to kick things off, the venue soared with excitement for the first-ever ONE PIECE DAY in the U.S. The crowd enjoyed a special screening of anime Episodes 1029 and 1030, which tie into the “ONE PIECE FILM RED” movie. After the screening, Ryuta Koike, producer of the ONE PIECE anime, appeared on the stage with Brina Palencia, the English voice of Chopper.
In an after-talk following the screening, they shared behind-the-scenes stories about the recording process of episodes and their deep connection to ONE PIECE. When speaking about her long-time experience voicing Chopper, Palenciahad moved the audience by stating, “His development has been incredible. Just seeing how much stronger he is, and more confident he is, more trusting than he ever was at first.”

Special Campaign Movie of the ONE PIECE CARD GAME
In a surprise reveal, a new campaign movie of the ONE PIECE CARD GAME premiered on the massive stage screen.
The campaign movie was specially produced to commemorate the “ONE PIECE CARD GAME Championship 25-26 Offline Regionals” and features the global hit song “I Had Some Help feat. Morgan Wallen” from Post Malone’s latest album “F-1 Trillion” released in August 2024, which spent 6 weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The video premiered to a rapturous audience reception, with loud, persistent applause.

Following DAY 1, Chopper, in the form of a costumed mascot, made an appearance. As the crowd cheered for Chopper, DAY 2 kicked off with a special screening of ONE PIECE Episodes 1100 and 1101, depicting the epic battle between Luffy and Lucci in the Egghead Arc.
After the screening, Producer Ryuta Koike and Jason Liebrecht, the English voice of Rob Lucci, took the stage for an after-talk. They gave a behindthe-scenes look at the episodes and discussed their approach for bringing this iconic villain to
to life. When asked about his favorite line of Lucci, Liebrecht mentioned, “It’s very difficult to choose. I mean, he’s got a lot of cool stuff. Lucci is kind of a dark and understated character...but, there’s a lot to choose from.” He also touched on the depth of the character.
2nd Appearance of Special Guest The Japanese Voice of Sanji, Hiroaki Hirata
Just like the first day, once Hiroaki Hirata, the Japanese Voice of Sanji, took the stage, the excitement of the crowd continued to build. Hirata greeted the audience with “Ladies & Mademoiselle, Mellorine!”, just like Sanji. The crowd was then treated to a live voice acting performance, recreating iconic scenes from ONE PIECE Episodes 763, 825, and 1061. Fans who gathered to watch Hirata’s performance filled not only the audience seats but also the standing area, cheering with elation at his gripping performance. The audience was also thrilled by the world premiere of an exclusive, never-before-seen preview of the latest anime footage, which is set to resume on April 6.
Regarding the highlights of the Egghead Arc, Producer Koike commented, “It has all the charm of anime, from action to drama to suspenseful developments, not to mention even more action. I hope you’re looking forward to the series’ return.” Hirata concluded the event by saying, “Having the opportunity to see and talk to you all in person made me truly realize how popular ONE PIECE is around the world. I hope you’ll continue to support us!”
Hiroshi Kitadani & Maki Otsuki Grand Finale Performance
As thousands of fans looked on, Hiroshi Kitadani and Maki Otsuki performed the iconic theme songs of ONE PIECE anime which resulted in the audience responding vividly throughout the entire venue in Dallas.
After performing two songs each, including the theme song for the Egghead Arc, the two returned to the stage for the grand finale.

Kitadani commented, “Just like yesterday, you guys are amazing,” and Otsuki added, “Yesterday was amazing, but today was so overwhelming that I forgot about the stage-talk!” When the MC encouraged the audience with a call for “One More Song!”, the crowd erupted in cheers, leading to a special duet of “We Are!” The excitement in the venue reached its climax. Kitadani and Otsuki sent a powerful message: “I’ll be back soon!” The performance was an emotional “peak,” embodying the adventurous spirit and sense of friendship that bonds fans of ONE PIECE together.

“Sound! Euphonium” is a popular brass band anime series produced by Kyoto Animation. Since the first season began in April 2015, the anime has produced a total of three seasons and five movies, including theatrical releases, special editions, and spin-off films. It is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
The beautiful, vibrant visuals and music, along with the earnest efforts of the Kitauji high school Concert band as they strive for the gold medal at the national competition, left a strong impresion on viewers and became a hot topic.

North America’s largest anime & Japanese pop culture event, Anime Expo 2025, is set to host a brand-new Japanese music festival!
Anime Expo (AX), the largest Japanese pop culture event in North America, will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center this year, bringing together anime, manga, gaming, and cosplay fans from all around the world. This year’s AX will also feature an unmissable music festival for anime fans!

This festival will feature six incredible acts:
FLOW – A legendary band known for numerous anime themes, including those from NARUTO, Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion, and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. Currently on their biggest-ever world tour, “ANIME SHIBARI,” they will bring their high-energy performances to AX.
GRANRODEO – The powerhouse duo of popular voice actor KISHOW (Kisho Taniyama) and composer/guitarist e-ZUKA. They have performed theme songs for anime such as Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre, Bungou Stray Dogs, Kuroko’s Basketball, and Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, delivering fiery live performances.
TOGENASHI TOGEARI – A real-life band based on the main characters’ band from the TV anime GIRLS BAND CRY, TOGENASHI TOGEARI, which aired last year, has seen their popularity skyrocket worldwide. While they have already performed overseas, this marks their first-ever North American performance.
Sakurazaka46 – A leading Japanese girl group that has gained much recognition overseas. They are often seen in anime scenes as being ambassadors for AnimeJapan, Japan’s largest anime event, their members performing the ending theme for the TV anime Pokémon, as well as collaborating with Hunter × Hunter. In 2025, the group will embark on a 5-city tour throughout Japan, including 3 days at Tokyo Dome and 2 days at Kyocera Dome Osaka.
Hiroshi Kitadani – The Pirate King of Anisong! Best known for singing ONE PIECE’s iconic themes like We Are! and We Go!. He is also a member of the legendary anisong group JAM Project.
ASTERISM (Opening Act) – This ultra-skilled metal band is back at AX! Known for their metal arrangements of anime songs, they bring an electrifying performance that every anime fan must witness at least once.
The performance lineup includes a diverse selection of songs, ranging from “iconic anime songs that everyone knows” to “tracks from the latest hit anime series” as well as “performances by Japan’s top groups.” Just like a capsule toy machine, the excitement builds as we anticipate what kind of music capsules will emerge.

Hello, I’m Saya Aizawa, and I’ll be voicing Saya Ozora. Saya is one of the protagonist Shizuku’s close friends and often makes unexpected remarks that accelerate the story’s pace and the dynamics between the two. however, everything she says and does comes from a place of care for shizuku. With that in mind, I approached the recording sessions with a focus on expressing her kindness. There’s a scene where Shizuku, Mizuki, and Saya go camping together, and I remember how lively and fun the atmosphere was among the cast, just like in the story. Unlike Gen, who strictly teaches the essence of camping, the girls’ camping trip brings a different kind of charm to the series, adding a fun and refreshing element. I hope you look forward to it! <Yuna Nemoto (Voice of Mizuki Hino)>
Hi, I’m Yuna Nemoto, the voice of Mizuki Hino. My first impression of Mizuki was that she was a cool and boyish character. But as I watched her support and cheer on Shizuku’s growth—often alongside the slightly more worrisome Saya—she started feeling almost like a father figure, whichmade me smile. She may tease them at times, but deep down, she truly cherishes her two best friends. That unexpected gap in her personality completely won me over! Oh, and just like me, she loves alcohol! Many of the cast members from the recording sessions also enjoy drinking, so one day, I’d love to go camping with everyone—just like the three characters in the story— and have a fun night out under the stars. One of my own camping memories is from my first trip about two years ago. I was so excited about my first-ever campfire that we all ended up singing and dancing around it! I also tried smoking food with a mess tin and chopping firewood for the first time, making it an incredibly exciting and unforgettable experience. I love how the bonds between the cast have deepened with each recording session. I can’t wait for everyone to experience the passion and love we’ve put into this project!

HOUSTON, TX — March 25, 2025 — Fantasy comes to Earth this spring for anime fans with today’s announcement from HIDIVE that the new reverse isekai rom-com Yandere Dark Elf (full title: Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way From Another World!) will stream exclusively on the anime streaming service from AMC Networks. Based on the popular manga series created by Nakanosora, Yandere Dark Elf will premiere on April 6 as part of HIDIVE’s Spring 2025 simulcast line-up. Written and illustrated by Nakanosora, Yandere Dark Elf is serialized in Takeshobo’s Web Comic Gamma Plus and now spans four volumes since its launch in September 2021. The English language version of manga series is published by Seven Seas Entertainment.
Yandere Dark Elf features direction by Toshikatsu Tokoro, writing by Yuki Takabayashi and animation by Elias—the same team behind the ecchi comedy and last summer’s fan favorite series PlusSized Elf. The new series stars Minami Takahashi as Mariabelle, Rie Kawamura as Hinata Sunohara, Kyoka Maruyama as Sakura Mochida, Ayumi Mano as Mei and Hinako Takahashi as Cecile.

About No Sleep For Kaname Date - From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES
The player takes on the role of Kaname Date, the protagonist, and once again teams up with the AI-Ball, Aiba, to tackle a mysterious case and rescue Iris, an internet idol who has been forced to take part in a dangerous escape game. No Sleep For Kaname Date - From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES introduces a new gameplay element: “Escape”. As with previous games, in “Investigation”, players will examine crime scenes and listen to testimonies. In “Somnium”, players enter the dream worlds of suspects and key witnesses. In the new “Escape” sections, players will solve puzzles to break out locked rooms. By moving between these three sections, players can obtain the necessary clues to solve the case.
The game’s director Kazuya Yamada (Spike Chunsoft) is writing the scenario, with Kotaro Uchikoshi, the previous scenario writer, overseeing as the series director. Yusuke Kozaki returns as character designer, and Keisuke Ito continues as the music composer.

A day after The New Cyclops Serial Killings was resolved, internet idol Iris Sagan (known as “A-set”) is abducted by a UFO and forced to participate in a perilous escape game called The Third Eye Game. Meanwhile, in another part of the city, a mysterious device is discovered. It resembles a coffin, and attached to it is a note that reads:
“Psync me”
Relying on a tenuous line of communication with the missing Iris, one man rises once again, determined to track down the UFO that should not even exist. Together with his partner, the AI-Ball Aiba, he sets out on a quest. That man...is Special Agent Kaname Date.
