“The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei” announced the new casts and the ending theme song!

Character visuals for Atsuko Chuzenji and Chizuko from the anime “The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries” , which will begin airing in April 2025, have been revealed, along with the announcement of two additional cast members

The story follows Kanna Kusakabe, a female student who encounters Akihiko Chuzenji, a newly appointed literature teacher at her school. Together, they face a series of supernatural incidents in a school setting, creating a unique blend of youthful drama and supernatural mystery. The anime is a prequel to Natsuhiko Kyogoku’s renowned Hyakki Yako novel series, which has surpassed 10 million copies in circulation, and is based on an original spin-off manga illustrated by Aki Shimizu that explores the high school teacher era of Kyogokudo.

This time, a stellar cast has been unveiled to bring to life the familiar characters from the “Hyakki Yako Series.”

Ai Furihata will portray Atsuko Chuzenji, the younger sister of Akihiko Chuzenji, while Ai Kayano will take on the role of Chizuko Chuzenji, Akihiko’s wife. Comments from both cast members have also arrived.

Additionally, the ending theme song has been decided. The track, titled Kimi no Shiranai Koto (Things You Don’t Know), will be produced by composer Shunryu’s music project ‘Sizuk.’ The song features lyrics by Shihori, arrangement by ANCHOR, and vocals by AYAME.

Entertainment Japan is excited to reveal the second official anime PV trailer and ending theme song by rock band FLOW for the highly anticipated From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman anime series scheduled for April 2025. The light novel and manga series has over 6.5 million printed copies in circulation.

The newly released second PV features daily interactions between Beryl and his former disciples, and the first teaser of FLOW’s theme song.

AMC Networks’ streamers HIDIVE and Shudder will partner with Iconic Events Releasing to bring the 40th anniversary re-release of Vampire Hunter D to U.S. and Canadian theaters this spring on April 9, 10 & 13 as part of AX Cinema Nights’ 2024/2025 Season. This Japanese cult classic film will then make its streaming debut on both platforms later this year. A seminal work in horror anime film released in 1985, Vampire Hunter D is the OVA (“original video animation”) adaptation directed by Toyoo Ashida and based on the best-selling novel series by Hideyuki Kikuchi. Anime”Solo Camping For Two”

The additional cast for the highly anticipated anime Solo Camping For Two, set to begin airing in July 2025, has been revealed. Additionally, the series will be featured at Anime Japan 2025!

The story follows Gen Kinokura, a solo camper who loves solitude and is enjoying a typical solo camping trip. Unexpectedly, he encounters Shizuku Kusano, a complete beginner camper, and the two are forced to embark on a solo camping adventure together. The narrative takes off from this unexpected twist.

The original work by Yudai Debata has become a massive hit, surpassing 3 million copies in circulation and even being adapted into a live-action drama starting January 9th, garnering significant attention.

The additional cast has now been announced. Yohei Azakami will portray Akihito Takigawa, a long-time friend of Gen from high school. He has shared his excitement about bringing the character of Takigawa to life.

Moreover, a talk stage at the Pony Canyon booth during Anime Japan 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight has been confirmed. The stage will take place on Sunday, March 23rd, at 2:30 pm JST, featuring Daisuke Hamano (Gen Kinokura), Mizuki Arisaka (Shizuku Kusano), and Yohei Azakami (Akihito Takigawa). Hello, I’m Yohei Azakami, and I’ll be playing the role of Akihito Takigawa.

At first glance, Akihito may seem like a carefree, womanizing guy, but he also comes across as a calm and mature adult who’s already experienced all the youthful adventures one could have. He doesn’t impose his opinions on others and isn’t bound by anything. This free-spirited man has had a long connection with Gen through their shared love for camping. I’m portraying this relationship, focusing on the subtle and comfortable balance in their friendship, to make it as charming as possible.

As for my first solo camping experience, my rented car got hit by a rock, and I even had a flat tire at the campsite – it was a pretty rough time... But the fellow campers and staff members were incredibly kind, and I was touched by their generosity. It turned out to be a great memory? (laughs)

Everyone has their own way of enjoying camping. The process of establishing your own unique camping style in your own way, with your own colors and shapes, is really fun. The characters in this story are all very distinctive, so I think you’ll enjoy figuring out which character you’ll emotionally connect with.

This is Karin Takahashi, the voice of Siberia. After I was cast, I read the original work and became completely captivated by the cuteness of the cats and the fun of the household appliances!

Siberia is always grumpy, but he’s a cute character you can’t help but love. I hope you all will come to love him too.

The recording studio was filled with a warm and fun atmosphere, and it really felt like the warmth of the show itself. I’m so happy to be a part of such a wonderful project! I hope everyone enjoys the daily life of the MuMu seniors!

Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei Production Committee

“The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei” released main KV and Trailer!

The anime “The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei:He Just Solves All the Mysteries” is set to premiere on April 7. The main key visual and the first trailer have also been released. Additionally, character visuals for Soichiro Enoki and Yukie have been unveiled, along with the announcement of two new cast members.

Shinnosuke Tachibana will voice Reijiro Enokizu, a striking young man with an eyepatch over his left eye and a long-standing connection with Chuzenji from their student days. Shuya Nishiji will portray Tatsumi Sekiguchi, a researcher specializing in myxomycetes who struggles with extreme social anxiety, while Takanori Hoshino will take on the role of Shutaro Kiba, a policeman stationed at a local police box and a childhood friend of Enokizu.

The opening theme song has been confirmed as “She Is Now in the Labyrinth” by HoneyWorks, a renowned creator unit active on YouTube and other video-sharing platforms. The song features vocals by KAF, a rapidly rising next-generation virtual singer. Additionally, the ending theme, “Things You Don’t Know” by Sizuk, has been revealed. Both tracks have been previewed for the first time in the newly released 1st trailer.

Comments from KAF, who performs the opening theme, and Shunryu, the composer of the ending theme, have also been released.

The main key visual for the upcoming anime “The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries” has been unveiled, featuring a retro-pop design that brings together the full Kyogokudo team. I’m honored to be working with HoneyWorks on the opening theme song for the TV anime “The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries”, airing in April 2025! The title of the song is “She Is Now in the Labyrinth” I had the privilege of singing this track, and as the chorus builds, it feels as if the scenery expands, and emotions intensify. I experimented a lot during the recording to capture that essence! I hope you’ll enjoy both the anime and the song’s release!

Ending Theme Artist – Shunryu

The song expresses the emotions many of us have felt—fascination with fear, the hesitation of whether to move forward or retreat. Getting lost in mysterious thoughts can be part of growth, and I wanted listeners to feel that after hearing the song.

ANCHOR’s delicate yet intense arrangement blends the atmosphere of the early Showa era with a modern sense of exhilaration.

I also encourage you to pay attention to Shihori’s lyrics, which are both mysterious and deeply comforting. Through AYAME’s voice, which carries both youth and strength, I hope you can almost smell the books in Chuzenji-sensei’s library prep room.

Two-Day Main Stage Program

The Main Stage inside Centennial Hall at Fair Park will be the “must-see” location for fans all weekend. The two-day programming line-up will not only include anime screenings, panels, and surprise programs but also live musical performances.

A special anime announcement will be made on Day One. This is a rare opportunity for fans outside Japan to experience breaking news in the world of ONE PIECE firsthand.

In addition to the special announcement, Japanese music artists Hiroshi Kitadani and Maki Otsuki will take the stage for live performances of the famous songs that color the world of ONE PIECE, including both the opening and ending themes from the “ONE PIECE” episodic series. Speculation is intense as to which of their other songs, beloved across generations, will be featured during their performances!

ONE PIECE CARD GAME Championship 25-26

ONE PIECE DAY Dallas –Card Game Celebration–will host the world’s first regional qualifier for the ONE PIECE CARD GAME Championship 25-26 tournament. The competition takes place in the Automobile Building at Fair Park and will include over 3,000 participants across two days. This will be the fastest tournament event held in the 2025 Championship season!

And for those fans not participating in the competition, there will be hands-on opportunities to experience the card game for the first time.

ONE PIECE DAY Dallas Exhibition

The “ONE PIECE” episodic series broadcast is set to resume with new episodes from the Egghead arc. To celebrate its return, a special exhibition showcasing the full appeal of ONE PIECE, including the manga, anime, licensed merchandise and a large-scale ONE PIECE CARD GAME showcase will be presented at the ONE PIECE DAY Dallas –Card Game Celebration–

The new project “ONE PIECE BASE” application (English version) is now available. This app features a viewer that allows users to read the original ONE PIECE manga, which has become beloved around the world through various media.
