01 Dogpatch Woven Hub
Designed as a vibrant community center for Dogpatch, this project integrates circulation as a core architectural feature. Sculptural concrete staircases wrap the exterior, establishing a dynamic dialogue between form and movement. Internally, staircases with varied rises and runs respond to different activity needs, guiding users through interconnected spaces. Program elements—including a library, media rooms, and creative workspaces—prioritize social interaction and collaboration. Corrugated and translucent glass modulates privacy and natural light, enhancing spatial experience and visual continuity. A rooftop terrace crowns the design, offering panoramic views of the city. The hub weaves community, circulation, and architecture into a unified, engaging experience.

03 Solar Shelter – Bridge Creek, Oklahoma
The Solar Shelter is a climate-responsive structure designed to provide year-round comfort while addressing the extreme weather conditions of Bridge Creek, Oklahoma. The building is divided into three thermal zones: a winter-insulated space with thick concrete walls and triple-glazed windows to retain solar heat, a summer zone featuring an open roof and perforated walls to enhance ventilation, and an underground tornado shelter utilizing stable ground temperatures for protection and thermal stability. Solar panels generate power for lighting and ventilation systems. Through strategic orientation, shading, and thermal mass, the design minimizes energy use and maximizes comfort, demonstrating sustainable and resilient architecture.

04 Embrace Vera Lodge – Rodeo Lagoon
Nestled within the rugged landscape of Rodeo Lagoon, Embrace Vera Lodge embodies a harmonious relationship between architecture and nature. The design draws inspiration from precedents like the Women’s Opportunity Center by Sharon Davis Design, using locally sourced clay bricks rotated at a 30-degree angle to form a protective, dynamic facade. The building’s curved structure mirrors the natural contours of the land, creating a fluid connection between built and unbuilt environments. Elevated pathways and terraces provide gentle transitions between spaces, encouraging exploration and reflection. Designed with inclusivity and accessibility in mind, the lodge invites visitors to engage with the surrounding natural beauty through thoughtful, environmentally integrated architecture.
Lodge at Rodeo Beach
enduring bond between architecture and nature. Drawing inspiration from architectural Vera Lodge seeks not to assert its presence but rather to blend seamlessly into the create a dynamic and protective screen, and curved to echo the undulating contours o from the landscape, producing a gentle transition into the overlook, where the environments. Through a thoughtfully curated program that caters to the diverse exploration, contemplation, and unity amidst the untamed beauty of Rodeo Beach.

05 The Tree House Hostel
The Tree Hostel centers around environmental sustainability and thermal performance. Designed in response to solar orientation and wind patterns, it features triple-glazed windows, thick concrete walls, and operable shading elements for optimal thermal insulation in winter. For summer, thinner walls and perforated panels promote ventilation and passive cooling. A tornado shelter positioned underground leverages the earth’s stable temperature for protection during extreme weather. Solar panels provide supplementary power for lighting and essential systems. This project highlights architecture’s ability to adapt to climatic challenges, fostering comfort, energy efficiency, and resilience through thoughtful design.

06 HexPillow Tile Screen Instalation
This project investigates the interplay between light, shadow, and material through a modular hexagonal tile system. The tiles, shaped with parametric design and fabricated using slip-cast plaster molds, emulate organic, cloud-like forms with a tactile, perforated texture. The strategically placed openings allow light to filter through, creating dynamic shadows that transform the spatial atmosphere throughout the day. The installation demonstrates a seamless integration of computational design with hand-crafted techniques. Each tile maintains individuality while contributing to a cohesive screen structure, designed to enhance sensory engagement within architectural environments. The modular system offers scalability for diverse applications, from facades to interior partitions, fostering a dialogue between user interaction and visual perception.

00 Work In Progress
Senior Assisted Community Living in West Oakland
Challenging the isolation and stagnation characteristic of traditional elder care facilities, this project reimagines senior living through a model that embraces community integration, autonomy, and creativity. The design fosters opportunities for social engagement and exploration, offering diverse intermediate spaces that blur the boundaries between private and communal life. Situated in West Oakland, the structure is organized around shared areas such as green courtyards, workshops, and lounges, encouraging intergenerational connections with the local community.
This vision prioritizes elders’ ability to actively shape their daily experiences, creating environments where residents reclaim a sense of purpose through meaningful relationships and new opportunities. Architectural features, such as layered walkways, modular rooms, and multifunctional gathering spaces, emphasize accessibility and dynamic spatial organization, ensuring that residents can find joy and inspiration in every aspect of their surroundings.
