The Tolivar Angus family welcomes you and your family to our 2024 Spring Bull Sale at the TLX Powranna Saleyards.
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Tasmanian Angus Bull Sale where we are proud to present 11 quality bulls which have a continual focus on the needs of the Commercial Cattleman. Nine of the bulls on offer are (PV) Parent Verified and the remaining 2 (SV) Sire Verified and over half of them are well suited for Heifers with Birth Weights less than +3.5. We have continued to incorporate proven balanced genetics into our herd to ensure consistency and predictability remain core pillars of the Tolivar Angus breeding program. Our goal is to offer only bulls that have the versatility and balance to produce progeny that build the base of the herd.
The Tolivar Angus herd has been built on a strong maternal foundation and we continue to enhance this aspect within our female breeders. We understand the importance of maternal qualities for Commercial Cattlemen. Our selection focus has resulted in females that are fertile, functional and able to maintain condition across different seasons. These are essential qualities for a successful herd.
Quality genetics are a crucial investment in your herd's future. In today’s rapidly changing environment, there has never been a more crucial time to focus on genetics within a breeding program. Although the methods of marketing cattle have evolved, the fundamentals of the beef supply chain remain the same - the demand for
consistent, predictable lines of high performing cattle is never out of style.
The bulls on offer provide quality genetics, performance and temperament. This year’s offering includes sons by well proven bulls Gar Phoenix, Millah Murrah Paratrooper and Aryvale Bartel as well as our own home sires.
Our stud and commercial herds run under the same high intensity grazing management. All of our stock are pasture fed, supplemented with silage and hay when needed which has been harvested from our properties.
We are grateful for the support shown for Tolivar Angus cattle. The results from our first two Autumn bull sales, along with our continual commercial sales and our first successful year of showing, have been incredible to which we are very thankful.

To be held at TLX - Powranna Saleyards located at 73 Powranna Rd, Powranna TAS 7300
• 25 mins south of Launceston 20 mins north of Campbell Town
INSPECTIONS
All bulls will be penned from 10am on sale day and available for inspection. We welcome private viewings on property prior to the sale date.

REBATE
A rebate of 3.5% is available to outside purchasing agents who introduce their buyers in writing 24 hours prior to the sale commencing. Please email the buyer and agency information to studstocktas@nutrien.com.au.

Free Freight Statewide and to Flinders Island, King Island and Port Melbourne for bulls sold at auction.

GUARANTEE
All bulls have been independently assessed for structural soundness and fertility evaluated. To the best of our knowledge the bulls offered are in sound working order as at the time of sale. If during the next 12 months of purchase the bull is deemed to be infertile or incapable, provided it is not caused by injury or sickness, the vendor agrees to supply the purchaser with a satisfactory replacement, if available, or issue the purchaser with a credit equal to the purchase price minus the salvage value that may be used on the next bull sale. The bull will be assessed by a veterinarian chosen by Tolivar Angus. A claim must be accompanied with a veterinary report.
NUTRITION
All bulls have been grass fed with supplement silage and hay.
CATTLE HEALTH
All bulls offered are: Tested free of Pestivirus Vaccinated according to recommendations with Pestigard, Vibrovax and Ultravac 7 in 1
• Semen tested and morphology assessed by Australian Veterinary Semen Morphology.
• Had their penis and testicles examined along with structural soundness and general health by Apiam Animal Health on08/07/2024. Have been drenched with Cydectin pour on Cattle & Red Deer.
• All sale bulls have been genomic tested to confirm their genetic ability.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Although all bulls have displayed great temperament and are regularly handled, care must be taken. A change in environment and other pressures can cause a bull to become agitated. We ask for no children under 16 years of age to enter pens on sale day.
INSURANCE
There is no Vendor Insurance on Sale bulls. At the completion of the sale the stock purchased becomes the buyer’s responsibility. We highly recommend that you insure your new purchase for 6 months. Please ask Agents for any insurance requirements.
