ANGUSalive is bursting with lots to do indoors and out this autumn/winter. Below are just some of the highlights.
A key event I’m particularly delighted to see returning for the first time since 2019 is the Meffan Winter Show. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see wonderful artworks submitted by artists right across Scotland.
Healthy Steps Angus is a new fun and free walking activity launching to help people connect with nature and make new friends. There are various walks planned and perfect for those looking to start a more gentle exercise routine.
Part of our Biba (Be Inspired Be Active) programme, Wheelchair Sports returns to Forfar Community Campus. It’s a great chance to learn new skills, sports and meet new friends. This is one of many Disability & Inclusion activities on offer.
Our libraries are continuing their Activities for the Young at Heart Club, featuring a whole mix of activities to enjoy including board games, quizzes and even a cuppa and a catch up. If you’ve not yet come along then please do, and why not bring a friend.
Lastly, I’m really excited (oh yes I am) that our panto is returning this year following Covid. Rapunzel featuring Puss in Boots is sure to feature all the fun of traditional pantomime including laughs for the little ones (and grown-ups) as well as the obligatory audience participation. Whatever you are into, ANGUSalive has something for you!
