Students at Anglesea Primary School recently wore yellow to acknowledge and celebrate World Autism Awareness Day
Anglesea Students Celebrate By Murray Surkitt
As part of the student leadership program, Anglesea Primary School has an active Junior School Council (JSC). The JSC Executive consists of three Grade 6 leaders and two representatives from each Home Group within the whole school. The Executive plans and leads the meetings, which are held at least once per term. This year, it’s planned some exciting activities, including raising funds for Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS) and to have the school’s Acknowledgement of Country engraved and displayed within the school. To help promote diversity in our community, one of the students suggested to the JSC that our school Community Houses are for Everyone
