CWA Arrives in Anglesea and Aireys By Terrence Hoffmann
Johanna Natt is the driving force behind the establishment of a CWA branch on the Surf Coast. She is the baker delivering the magical cake smells that first meet you on entering The Captain at Aireys Inlet. A wood-fired pizza is but one reason for being there. Joey’s cakes and other baked goodies have also attracted quite a following.
“I saw the wonderful fundraising they have done, social issues that have been tackled, beautiful cakes and craft items made, and most importantly, the great friendships that have been formed.”
As she says herself, “I love making, baking and being creative. My mum and grandma were part of the CWA growing up and mum is still a member.
So she started thinking more about finding others who might join up if she got things rolling.
