Martina Navratilova once said’ the difference between commitment and involvement is like ham and eggs, the chicken is involved, the pig is committed. When starting a business while employed, it is easy to say you are committed and then lapses due to tiredness or as the novelty wears off. There is an art to being flexible and committed as an entrepreneur while still employed. You hear ‘You need to be all in’. Being all in as an entrepreneur has a different meaning to all. For me being all in as an entrepreneur is being able to commit and persist by taking daily action. It is working through challenges and obstacles while building a business from past and current experiences based on a self-defined vision. It is possible to be a committed entrepreneur while still employed if you have time and are willing to find the time that committed business owners need.

A few of the characteristics to be a flexible and committed entrepreneur are; Seek people to collaborate with and find a business mentor. Don’t go it alone. Business owners, online entrepreneurs need to part of communities and seek mentorship.
