ANGELS FOR HUMANITY HEALTH INTERVENTIONS AWARD 2021 Dr. Marco Contreras
Dr. Marco Contreras began his dental career in the ear‑ ly 1990s at Venezuela’s Central University (Universidad Central de Venezuela, Dental School, Caracas, Venezu‑ ela), the country’s leading educational facility for Medi‑ cal Dentistry. He furthered his studies here in the U.S. at the University of Miami‘s Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Contreras practices all phases of implant dentistry as well as cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He is active and proactive in continuing education courses and keeps abreast of the latest innovations, making him a versatile professional in his field. His passion and dedication to the work he loves has earned him the trust and admira tion of his community and also an outstanding reputa tion in the Media and with local celebrities.
Dr. Marco, as he is lovingly called by the members of An gels for Humanity, has been helping the charity for many years. Always available to help and support in every way he can, he finds the time in his busy schedule to help the charity and the children we support. In 2018, Dr. Marco was invited to become a member of the Executive Board of Angels for Human ity where his influence is strongly felt. He moves mountains and goes above and be yond to help organize events and invite his circle of friends to support the cause. He recently attended the organizations med ical mission trip in the Dominican Republic and was a huge asset during our Back to School program in Miami where he was one of the den tists that saw over 150 children in 2 short days
