Histories of India

Since its establishment in 2014, Curiosus, the English Quiz Society of Jesus and Mary College, has worked to foster a quizzing culture within the institution. The society has gained recognition for being one of the top all-female teams in the Delhi University circuit. In addition to regularly competing in quiz competitions, the society administers quizzes independently but also in collaboration with other societies for execution of intra- and inter-college quizzes.
Quizzes are organised around a variety of themes such that any person is sure to find an area of their liking – be it cinema, sports, MELA, history, fandom, current affairs, or India.
Curiosus is a family of 70 members, headed by the President, Vice President and the General Secretary. There are various sub departments- all of which work together for the smooth functioning of the society. Members of the society are frequently encouraged to come up with innovative ideas for quizzes in order to make the student population in JMC and outside realize the appeal of quizzing. Furthermore, many interactive , fun quizzes are organised to motivate the members. The society is also active on social media platforms particularly Instagram, by regularly posting short quizzes and trivia.
