MomEase PROJECT OVERVIEW Being a woman, I have frequently encountered personal narratives shared on social media detailing postpartum experiences, often highlighting the overwhelmi n g p a i n a n d e x h a u s t i o n t h a t c a n l e a d t o c o n s i d e r a b l e d i s t r e s s . M o r e o v e r, t h e r e has been an alarming influx of news reports depicting instances of postpartum mothers resorting to drastic measures, such as committing suicide along with their child, as a result of postpartum depression (PPD).

I n t r i g u e d b y t h i s s u b j e c t m a t t e r, I e m b a r k e d o n r e s e a r c h a n d u n e a r t h e d s t a t i s t i c s indicating that approximately 1 in 10 women undergo postpartum depression subsequent to childbirth, while some studies suggest a ratio as high as 1 in 7 women.

This revelation has profoundly affected me, compelling me to employ my skill set t o c o n t r i b u t e , a l b e i t i n a n u a n c e d m a n n e r, t o w a r d s a l l e v i a t i n g t h e a r d u o u s n e s s o f this distressing process for these individuals. My aspiration is to aid them in mitigating the taxing nature of this painful phase.
