Nuestros alumnos de 3ºESO han estado muy viajeros este trimestre. Esperamos que sus redacciones os transporten a fantásticas ciudadades. Sólo tenéis que dejar volar la imaginación. “The Coliseum” by Natalia Navas (3ºA ESO) It is in Italy, specifically in Rome and it is a very special place. It is a symbol of eternity of ancient Rome. It is crowded with tourists. It was built in the first century. It is special because you can perfectly see the best of Roman times and the majesty with which they built the buildings. For me, that is so amazing! I am so interested in how they did that at that time. Moreover, the Coliseum was used for gladiator fights and a big variety of other events, when you are inside you can imagine the spectators screaming while the gladiators were fighting. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful buildings in the world.
“London” by María Palomo (3ºA ESO) London is the Capital of England and it's very famous. There are a lot of places to visit, all of them are amazing! Some of them are: • • •
•
The London Eye. It's famous because it is the highest Wheel in the world. You can see all London from above. There is a famous bus in London, it is red and it has two floors you can take a tour of London. Another really good place to visit is the Buckingham Palace, the Queen lives there! It's very big and beautiful, and you can watch the Changing of the Guard, a ceremony which happens every day outside the palace. The Big Ben is incredibl, it's a great and fantastic clock, very tall. It is the symbol of London.
The typical meal is "fish and chips", and tea is the typical drink. There is a charming neighbourhood called Covent Garden, where you can eat very well. For me all the places in London are equally good.
