PUBLIC FACILITIES : LANGLAAGTE SAPS

Project Background :

Langlaagte is a suburb located in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is Located west of the Johannesburg Central Business District, and adjacent to Mayfair West. The SAPS site is located south of the Langlaagte suburb.

This is on of the ndpw in-house projects. We formed an integral part of the project’s professional team and provide full standard landscape architectural services to the above-mentioned project. NDPWI Landscape architects have completed the following stages to date:

Stage 1: inception Site visit and analysis

Stage 2: concept and viability

Landscape architectural landscape development brief

Landscape architectural need analysis and functional diagram

Stage 3: Design development

Preliminary landscape development concept plan

Landscape development soft and hard landscape material board

Preliminary landscape development cost estimate Design sections and/or details

The landscape development plans took in consideration; the public seating and/or gathering spaces, private and semi-public courtyards, driveways/ parking and walkways and domestic private spaces.
