If you’re working out more than 3 times a week you want to vary your workouts each day. An example of this would be Monday leg day, Tuesday shoulders and triceps, etc.
Remember you can include cardio and abs in every workout.
However if you’re only working out 3 times a week than a total body workout with rest days in between is a good way to go. I’ll be including a killer total body workout at the end of this article. I often give these workouts to my clients for their off days or in our case over the last week, snow days.
I know working out, especially on your own might seem intimidating but once you push yourself that extra step to just do it I guarantee you won’t regret it. Working out at home definitely takes motivation, but as I always say schedule this time in for yourself it’s just as important as anything else. If you have children let them join in on the fun! If it’s too much of a distraction ask a friend or family member to help you, or set them up with something to do while you’re working out.
And remember form is most important, so if you’re unsure of a certain exercise research it and modifications as needed!
