Hand Sketches Various Cites, Italy

During the Fall of 2017 I studied the semester in Europe. Throughout my travels I cataloged, drew, and analyzed countless iconic architectural monuments. This is a small collection from one of my sketchbooks during my time in Italy. All of the sketches demonstrate my ability to interpret and evaluate Italian renaissance architecture. Each sketch and building tells a story of how the building was conceptualized and constructed. All of the drawings display my sense spatial awareness and perspective sensibilities.

I have been a hands on designer for as long as I can remember. Model making is one of my favorite parts of the design process. The hands on nature of model making requires a keen attention to detail. It is this immense focus that allows me to connect and understand each area of my design. I achieve some of my best work when I work with physical models.

Architecture is just one of my passions. I have a number of other ways that I express my creativity, however, photography is my favorite. Photography requires careful consideration of framing, composition, aesthetic, timing, intent and control of complex camera settings. My primary subject matter is landscapes. Each of these photos I have personally taken and all of them are un-edited.
