The Village Green We envision prominently featuring a New York State wine center and craft brewery beer garden and a coffee and teahouse at The Village Green.

Prominently situated at the Bellefield Route 9 entry, the Village Green will be a lively, urbane, but rustic public space.

Encircled by tree canopies and wetland streams, it will be accessed by a picturesque footbridge from the Market Square and from the ample shaded and screened parking immediately east. A concentration of food retail and services, art galleries, shops and artist studio lofts will result in a dynamic and creative place—sensitively carved out of the wooded site. A spacious terrace, supported by rough-hewn timber trestles, provides an overlook to the Hudson River to the west and the expected dramatic sunsets.

Directly across from the world-leading Culinary Institute of America, Dutchess County welcomed nearly 5 million visitors who spent $601.5 million in lodging, dining, shopping and area attractions which is only anticipated to keep growing with the addition of the Bellefield and the new developments to the area.
