I lived in 4 different countries, so I’ve been working on UX a little bit across the world.
I have 2 degrees, one in Geography and Urban Planning and another in Graphic Design.
I like a lot of different kinds of music but my favorite singer of all time is Freddie Mercury from Queen.
Work
My career started in Portugal, where I worked as a Graphic/Visual Designer for a little more than 4 years at a design agency called PAGE78.
Then I moved to London (UK) where I worked at The Royal Society as a Graphic/Visual Designer.
2 years later I decided to shift my focus exclusively to UX/UI design, so I moved to Amsterdam where I worked at TomTom for more than 3 years.
Subsequently, I ventured to Waterloo, Canada, assuming the role of a Senior UX/UI Designer at Healthhub Patient Solutions, providing good experiences to hospital patients at their bedside devices.
Returning to my roots in Portugal, I took a position at New Work on Xing, a professional networking platform, as a Product Designer for a span of 2 years.
Now, I'm excited about my new role at Issuu. I believe in its potential to help content creators reach a global audience, enhancing their visibility and monetization in an increasingly interconnected world.
