The jOHNNy mANN CENtER fOR COmmERCiAL musiC is named after the late Grammy award winning composer and musician Johnny Mann. As a great friend of Anderson University, Johnny Mann was a champion of the South Carolina School of the Arts. The purpose of the Johnny Mann Center is to provide music students the opportunity to grow and develop as professional musicians through a rigorous curriculum, dynamic performance opportunities, focused work with guest artists, and through targeted internships.
