outhern California trainer Pete Eurton just wrapped up his best summer, culminating in the first and second Grade 1 stakes wins of his career, in 26 years as a trainer. Going into the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Grey Goose Juvenile Fillies championship decider, his Weemissfrankie is a leading contender. The daughter of Sunriver is undefeated in three starts, including the Del Mar Debutante S.-G1 on synthetic at Del Mar and the Oak Leaf S.-G1 on dirt at Santa Anita Park, with earnings of $337,800.
