Thanks to the detailed manual, included screws, and safety-certified raw plugs from the German brand Würth, mounting the steel hinge and hanging the fireplace is straightforward. You’ll need a drill, but everything else is provided. The fireplace can be mounted on any wall type without requiring a flue or additional components. With the firebox installed, the fireplace weighs up to 27 kg, so it’s recommended that two people assist with hanging it.
To operate the fireplace, simply open the unique “flame control” damper, located on the side. This eliminates the need for any external lids or tools. The “flame control” also allows you to adjust the flame size and turn off the fireplace after use. The entire system is built with durability in mind, made from 5mm stainless steel.
When adding bioethanol, it must be done through the burner—only when the fireplace is completely cold and turned off. Filling takes some time, as the Cave’s bioethanol container holds just over 3 liters. However, once filled, you can enjoy over 12 hours of burn time.
To avoid spills, use a funnel and a suitable bottle for pouring, ensuring the bioethanol goes directly into the combustion chamber.
