ART ADVENTURES In this online program developed for children 7-9 years old, students were introduced to elements and concepts of art, learned to observe, exercise their drawing and painting skills and expressed their feelings and thoughts through painting and drawing. Painting class In this painting class for children (age 9-13) we combined painting with different media, including acrylics, watercolors, oil pastels and gouache. While exploring these techniques, the students learned the basics of color theory and color mixing, practiced rendering light and shadows with paints, and studied the works of great modern and contemporary artists.

drawing class In the Drawing class students were introduced to the basic foundation of realistic representational drawing. Guided projects and exercises covered the use of line, pattern, light and shadow, proportion and perspective. Most of the drawings were created using simple graphite pencils. The projects include compositions with geometrical objects, still life, things from everyday life, gesture and nature sketching.
