The V60 technique originated in Japan in the 1940s and was created by the Hario company. It was initially designed as a simple and efficient way to brew coffee.
Invented in 1941 by chemist Dr. Schlumbohm and ranked among the 100 best-designed products of modern times, being placed in many museums around the world.
The siphon coffee maker was invented in 1822 by a French inventor named Denis Papin. It was the first coffee maker that used steam to brew coffee.
The earliest known device was patented in 1852 in France by Jacques-Victor Delforge and Henri-Otto Mayer. Unlike filter coffee, this method retains the essential oils in the coffee, which end up in your cup, making the aroma more complex and richer than with classic filter coffee.

Cold brew coffee originated in Japan, where it has been a traditional method of coffee brewing for centuries. Slow-drip cold brew, also known as Kyoto-style, or as Dutch coffee in East Asia (after the name of coffee essences brought to Asia by the Dutch), refers to a process in which water is dripped through coffee grounds at room temperature over the course of many hours.

The roots of Turkish coffee trace all the way back to 1555, when it was brought to Istanbul by Syrian traders. Then, by the mid17th century, it became an essential part of the Ottoman Court’s ceremonies and the Sultan would be served ceremonious coffee by his own personal coffee makers.
