S e n te n ce : A Group of words that makes complete sense is called a sentence. 'kCnksa dk lewg tks iw.kZ vFkZ nsA

E.g. : 1 . Ram Played a hocky match last evening. 2. Did your team with the match? > A sentence begins with a capital letter. > A sentence end with a full stop, a mark of interrogation or a mark of exclamation. Phrase : A group of words that makes sense but not complete sense is called a phrase. E.g.

1 . a hockey match. 2. a funny story. Can turn a phrase into a sentence by adding some words to

What is you favorite food? > Sentence I is yes/no type questions and sentences begins with a question word ( what) > Questions words : what, when, where, who, whose, whom, why > Put a mark of integration (?) at the end of an interrogative sentence.
