INTRODUCTION DESIGN GUIDELINES

This section is dedicated to all you need to know about the design rationale, fonts, symbols, colors and the wide range of sign types that can be applied to the various types of Montana FWP sites.

APPLYING THE DESIGN SAMPLE LAYOUTS

This

The typical arrival sequence of the majority of park visitors is via car or camper. Below are several sign types that are s caled large enough to be read by drivers. These signs can be deployed for this purpose.

PEDESTRIAN LEVEL SIGN TYPES

Other park visitors may arrive on foot, bus or have already arrived onsite by car. Below are several pedestrian scaled sign types. These signs make up the majority of sign types are to be deployed as needed.

PROGRAMMING THE SIGNS SIGN

This section is dedicated to showing park managers how to plan and program their park, and how to apply the design guidelines to their specific State Park, Fishing Access Site or Wildlife Management Area.

FACILITY / BUILDING SIGN TYPES

The typical arrival sequence at a Park Headquarters building requires a different set of sign types geared towards both drivers and pedestrians. These signs can be deployed at all facilities where applicable.
