As a Representative of AMSA Jember 22/23, I proudly introduce AMSA Jemberforthenextyearthroughthisbooklet.

AMSA-JemberispartofAMSA-Indonesia,whichisbasedonKnowledge, Action,andfriendshipineachofitsworkprograms.

If AMSA is a house, then its 6 divisions, namely ID, CO, MnD, FnP, AMSEP, and PnP are its rooms. You will always be able to get the maximum benefitsfromeachdivisionregardlessofwhereyouareplaced.

AMSA International was officially founded at the sixth Asian Medical Students' Conference (AMSC), which was held at Manila, the Philippines in 1985 Enthusiastic AMSA members from nine different nations Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand, gathered at the conference and founded the prestigiousinternationalorganization The member nations increased gradually as the founding members of AMSA inspired neighboring countrieswithitsadmirablevision

Today, AMSA International has grown into a dynamic student led, not for profit,non politicalorganization With members and friends globally, AMSA International has branched and introduced many exciting subsidiaries and activities to be undertaken regionally and nationally within the member nations. The Asian Medical Students’ Conference is the flagship conference of AMSA International that involves the participation of hundreds of medicalstudentsinthesummer yearly.

The objective of AMSC is to create a platform for a strong, global network of medical students who will explore, and develop their academic knowledge, cultural appreciation,andinterpersonalskillsasfuturemedicalpractitioners.

East Asian Medical Students’ Conference

TheEastAsianMedicalStudents’ Conference was an annual conference hosted by various cities around East Asia At its inception, it aimed to inspire delegates to become active in ameliorating of global healthcare problems through networking with other medical students from the East Asian region

TheEAMSCcontinuestoinspiremedicalstudents toanalyzeglobalhealthissuesmorecloselyandtoutilizetheroleofmedicalstudents in promoting public health. It challenges students to think beyond what is learned at university through various academic, sociocultural, and community service activities whichexploreanominatedconferencetheme.

BACKGROUND

Asian Medical Students' Association Indonesia (AMSA Indonesia) is the peak representative body for medical students in Indonesia.FoundedinYogyakartaonAugust 10th,1996.

Since 1996, AMSA Indonesia has been established to be one of Indonesia's largest medical students organization in Indonesia. Comprises of more than 5.000 active members spread across Indonesia with 36 universities and 2 universities observer, we are very proud to call AMSA our home.

LATAR BELAKANG VISI

AMSA-Jember adalah organisasi eksternal di Fakultas Kedokteran, Universitas Jember, Jawa Timur, yang dijalankan oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Dokter AMSA JemberjugamerupakanbagiandariDistrik 5AMSA-Indonesia.

AMSA Jember mulai menjadi Obsever pada 21 Juni 2018 dibawah bimbingan oleh AMSA Universitas Brawijaya Namun, setelah melewati perjuangan yang luar biasa akhirnya AMSA Jember resmi menjadi anggota AMSA Indonesia pada MusyawarahNasional(MUNAS)tahun2019

AMSA Jember telah banyak mengukir prestasi dan aktif berkontribusi dalam kegiatannasionalmaupuninternasional.

AMSA Jember memiliki enam divisi yang terbagi menjadi divisi internal yaitu Intellectual Division, Membership and Development Division, dan Community OutreachDivision.Sertatigadivisieksternal yaitu Publication and Promotion Division, FinanceandPartnershipDivision,danAsian Medical Students' Exchange Program Division.
