








It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Asian Medical Students' Association, Halu Oleo University or better known as AMSA UHO We are an internal organization at the Faculty of Medicine, Halu Oleo University which was founded on March 8th 2010 in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi. AMSA UHO is a student organization that is scientific, non political, non sectoral, non profit, open, free, and independent.
For 12 years, AMSA UHO has adhered to its three philosophy pillars: Knowledge, Action, and Friendship which has become a forum for students of the Faculty of Medicine in Halu Oleo University to work both through academic and non academic programs, learn to serve the community, and also share experiences with others.
We believe that with comprehensive cooperation, we can make an influential contribution starting now as medical students We hope that with all the opportunities provided by AMSA UHO, we can unite our vision and mission to help improve the future of medical healthcare in Indonesia Through the AMSA UHO 2022/2023 Booklet, with pride, we formally introduce ourselves and hopefully give you a better view of our values as an organization

The Asian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) International is a peak representative organization for medical students from across Asia, the Asia Pasific and beyond. Training doctors from 17 Member Nations and 10 Associate/Observer Nations combine to share knowledge, undertake activities and social services and create international and trans-continental friendships.
Since it was first established in 1979 and the first conference was held in Mahidol University of Thailand the Asian Medical Student Conferences have been a key focus for the organization. Now held biannually in January/February and July/August these events see over 700 students from across the world combine to learn from each other, teach their fellow peers and develop lasting friendships.
The AMSA Vision is Knowledge, Action and Friendship. Three areas we contionously strive to further our member and peers through our organization missions : Knowledge
We promote scientific and medical activities to increase and expand our knowledge whilst training to become the medical professionals of the future.

Asian Medical Students' Association (AMSA Indonesia) is the peak representative body for medical student in Indonesia. Established in Yogyakarta, August 10th 1996, AMSA Indonesia has been actively participating in a plethora of national and international events. Its contribution to AMSA International as the roots of the organization are impressive, having hosted four Asian Medical Student Conference (AMSC) in 1990, 1996, 2003, 2010 and East Asian Medical Student Conference (EAMSC) in 2006 and 2015

This event marks the beginning of the Regional Chairperson's tenure. During this National Meeting, the newly formed Executive Board will be officialy inaugurated and the regional chairperson will seek approval of his/her work plan for the tenure.
A nation event that can bring together AMSA members who come from various places. The core of this event is on the second and third days. Where NAE participants take part in debate competition that have been prepares in advance, as well as social service activities which are a manifestation of the one of the basic principles of AMSA namely action.
Indonesian Medical Students' Training and Competition (IMSTC) is an annual national event under the auspices of the Asian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) Indonesia. This event was held to enhance AMSA's Knowledge Philosophy. The core series of events are filled with training and competition. Training in held in small classes that discuss scientific paper, scientific poster, public poster, photography and videography.
National Leadership Training (NLT) is one of 5 AMSA events on a national scale, each year the NLT is held in a different city. This event aims to create AMSA cadres in Indonesia who are wise and have leadership behaviors that are moral and responsible and also strengthen the relationship between all the AMSA members through out Indonesia.
Munas is an event that mark the end of the Regional Chairperson's tenure which includes the approval of his/her evaluation report from her/his tenure. National Meeting will also hold the election for the next Regional Chairperson and his/her inauguration.

Finance is a division that focuses on financial sustainability at AMSA UHO. Not only by selling, but we also do all kinds of activities that can increase our knowledge and soft skill as medical student.
External Relation is one of the divisions in AMSA UHO, this division has a 3 main work programs, which are : Delegation, where the main focus of this work programs is to assist in managing member administration in participating in national and international event, also exchange program activities The second is relationship with GO/NGO
Event of the Year (EOTY) is a derivative social work program from AMSA Indonesia which will be carried out by all AMSA Universities simultaneously within a certain period of time This event aims to improve the ability of AMSA members in holding a social activity.
This event is a get together activity aimed to all AMSA UHO members package in recreational events, also carried out in a fun atmosphere and inserted with several forms of games. This event was also coupled wit s farewell to its members and the introduction of the Representative Cand es.

AMSA UHO launched AMSA EXCHANGE to increase enthusiasm, thoughts and potential among AMSA UHO members as well as between AMSA other universities AMSA UHO held AMSA EXCHANGE in which there were various activities, namely introduction of management, lecturer and Focus Group Discussion
