Since 1802, this working monastery has been home to a community of Benedictine monks who seek God according to the Gospel and the Rule of St Benedict. Sitting at the heart of 2,000 acres of Yorkshire countryside lies the Abbey Church which hosts services daily online and in-person. A modern Retreat Centre and Visitor Experience offer visitors the opportunity to experience a piece of life in the Ampleforth valley.
