4 Ways Data Science is Improving Environment Innovation Data science is one of our most effective tools for locating and evaluating complicated problems, creating solutions, and monitoring progress. A million gigabytes make up one petabyte. The NASA Center for Climate Simulation (NCCS) combines artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning with high-performance computing to make sense of it.
