Nimfo.

First of all, we should explain the meaning of this word, which is completely a self-made Persian-English word, which means the half form (Nim means half in Persian). I’ve given this name because the product is made up of half shapes and on the other hand it fits its mood. However, Nimfo was inspired by the Bauhaus style and its main elements; clean lines, simple, useful shapes with little or no decoration, primary colors, and rational use of modern materials.

Currently, Nimfo is made in three colors and displayed in several exhibitions and online shops.

Piet Mondrian version.

The main idea of this work came from my dear teacher Amir Abbas Kashef, and I executed it with my own idea, which was a combination of that work with Piet Mondrian’s painting. As can be seen, I used the lines and proportions of Pete’s drawings and gave it volume and turned it into a product.

Turntable.

The idea of designing this table came to my mind while working with a piece of fabric, which was formed by gathering it from a point in the middle. At the same time, I was thinking of designing a sustainable product, which led me to the conclusion to use “Paper Mache” (combination of glue with scraps

Plak 16.

This project was designed in the forest area around Shiraz by order of the client. In this project, all my efforts and focuse were on the issue of low cost and use of the least amount of materials, at the same time with the least damage to the environment (to some extent, this project could be considered sustainable).

Ground floor plan

It can be seen, this building was made of 5 containers, 4 of which are the same size and measure that used in the ground floor. Next to it, the upper container is welded to the lower containers with a length of nearly 12 meters. Moreover, to provide energy, we will put solar panels on all the roofs because that area always has sunshine and we should use this energy in the best way.

I should mention that this project was initially assigned to me for the design of the building, and recently the design of the site was added to it, so I only left the design of the building here.

Housing for Slums.

Actually, one of my favorite topics in recent years was the super-adobe (earthbag) structures, which were founded by Nader Khalili. A simple and stable structure that consists of soil that is grouped in sacks and insulated bags (for example, the soil of the area where the structure is to be built). One of the capabilities of this structure is its quick implementation. To illustrate, within a few days, a beautiful and spacious building can be built from it.

At the time of starting the last semester and also choosing a topic for my final project, I was reading the book Planet of Slums. And in the meantime, I thought to combine these topics and I resive to the topic of “Designing a area for slums with superadobe material”.

21 Architecture - Housing for slums

This project has many benefits for the city and the slums, but the most important thing is that the people who are going to live in the houses can be trained and design their houses according to the instructions. After finishing the work, they can expand the same work and style in other places and somehow generate income. This also creates employment. Anyway, for the design of this collection, I designed four types (according to the number of residents of the families) and multiplied them to the number of 25. It is interesting to know that following Alejandro Aravena’s work in the Quinta Monroy housing project, I painted the houses both internally and externally so that the residents can choose the color of their place and personalize their living space.

VersatileHouse

This project is designed for two types of family (an older family with 2 members and a younger family with 4 members). However, according to the request of the employer, a workplace with direct access from the outside is designed in the larger family house.

25 Architecture - Versatile House

I designed this house according to the old Iranian architecture (preservation of privacy and rules of privacy, besides paying attention to the yard and different spaces for gathering in the house, etc.). For example, I moved the swimming pool to the back of the Entfal building so that its privacy would be protected and I created a space next to it for the gathering of family members, or in the front yard of the house in the same way, I considered a space where you can have a quiet space next to one of the experiences the most important elements of old architecture (water).

This is a concrete structure (prestressed concrete) and is implemented with a mat foundation (spread footing), which a part of this function can be seen in the line section below.

Sketching/ Painting.

I started drawing and painting professionally since I was 8 years old, my mother enrolled me in a drawing class and I have been interested in sketching since then. So far I have trained almost three people from scratch (along with the rules and understanding of 3D volume and space).

29 Visual Arts - Sketching/Painting

In hence, with using various devices, I was able to do digital painting, even participate in some competitions. For instance, participating in “Art on Climate” International Illustration Competition, which ironically also had an interesting topic for me.

Also, in some cases, I used to paint their own characters for those I loved and gave them as gifts.

However, I worked for “Zedbazi” a greatest band of persian rap music and coprated to “Tehran Times” that the result of this collabration was the cration of an animated music video. All parts of the animation was designed and motioned by me. By order of the employer, its design is in the style of “Street Fighter” game.
