Clifford A. Swager Jr.
Margaret (Peggy) Siggens
Clifford Allen Swager, Jr. was born on July 2, 1950 in Amery, WI to Clifford Swager Sr. and Betty (Knutson) Swager. Clifford passed away on April 9, 2016, at his home in Joel, WI surrounded by family and loved ones after battling Pulmonary Fibrosis and Emphysema for several years. Clifford was the second born son of Clifford Sr. and Betty. Clifford was baptized and then confirmed in May 1965 at Balsam Ev. Lutheran Church. He excelled in gymnastics in High School and was offered a scholarship, but hurt his arm and wasn’t able to continue. He graduated from Unity High School in 1968. On July 26, 1969, Clifford married Barbara Ellingsworth. To this union, four children were born; Karrie, Denyelle, Clifford III and Cody. Clifford worked at many jobs throughout his life. He owned a construction company, worked at F & A Dairy, Amery Auto Salvage and Anderson Windows to name a few. He retired from Anderson Windows and kept busy until Barbara retired. They purchased a home in Wittmann, Arizona and were snow birds until Clifford became ill. Clifford was a busy body and was always thinking of new ideas. He enjoyed building and remodeling houses, creating wooden crafts, camping, hunting and fishing. He liked to cook and spend time with friends and family. He was the “Chili Champion” at a contest held in the community that they lived in in Arizona and his “pickles”, “seafood salad” or “fluffy fruit” were often requested at functions. Clifford was preceded in death by his Son Cody, Brother Gene, Grandson Draven Hillebrandt, Niece Heather Vance, his Grandparents, Father-In-Law, Mother-In-Law and many other relatives. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Swager; Son Clifford (Faith) Swager III, Daughters Karrie (Paul) Hillebrandt & Denyelle Denver (Jeff Rundquist); Grandchildren Shanea Wichelman, Shanell & Tristan Denver, Devin Swager, Brodie Hillebrandt & Wyatt Swager; Great Granddaughter Evelyn Mante, Father Clifford Swager Sr.; Sisters Vicky (Ron) Dorner & Diane (Chuck) Ebert; Sister-In-Laws Carolyn Whitehead, Gail Vance (Todd Slattengren), Tracy (Jim) Vance; Brother-In-Law Gary (Cheryl) Ellingsworth, and many other loving relatives and friends, as well as his beloved pug Petie. A memorial service will be held at Little Falls Lutheran Church in Amery, WI at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016. There will be a visitation 1 hour prior to services at the church. Margaret (Peggy) Hancock Siggens, age 91, formerly of Amery and New Richmond, died peacefully April 15, 2016, surrounded by family at the home of John and Denise Siggens in Somerset, Wisconsin. Peggy was born on November 11, 1924 to Jeanne Latimer and Edward James Hancock, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She is pre deceased by her parents, and three older brothers, Ben, James, John Hancock, a Grandson Jonathan Brown and her High School sweetheart and husband of 70-years, Raymond C. Siggens, Surviving family members include her children, Susan (Mike Riley), Sally, John (Denise) and Jeanne. 10-Grandchildren: Megan, Tim (Kira), Patrick (Diana) Desiree (Todd) Ian, Vala, Alicia (Nick), Anna, John Allan, Jimmy and 6- Great grandchildren, Lance, Jake, Marley, Piper, Amara, and Michael. Peggy attended U of Wisconsin Teachers College in Eau Claire, graduating with a degree in Elementary Education. While raising 4-children and artfully

keeping house, Peggy taught K through 3rd grade for over 17-years in New Richmond and San Jose, CA, led the children’s choir of the Chippewa Falls Methodist Church, was a soloist and pianist. She loved opera, Big Band Swing music, Classic Jazz, and Gospel. She was a musician at heart, teaching her children 4-part harmony and singing duets with her loving husband Ray. She was a member of P.E.O. A Philanthropic Educational Organization for Women the last 50 years. She loved the natural world, bird watching, gardening, cooking, swimming, and waterskiing approaching everything with her special brand of humor even when nearing death. She was known to be a Scrabble Champion, lover of words, children’s books and a big fan of Theodor Seuss Geisel. A memorial service will be held at 3:00p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the United Methodist Church of New Richmond, Wisconsin, Rev. Cathy Hamblin officiating. There will be a visitation 1 hour prior to services at the church on Saturday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers. William “Bill” Theadore Justice Jr, age 58 of Amery, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at his home. Bill was born on October 26, 1957 to William Sr and Donna Justice (James) in Portsmouth, Ohio. Bill was a truck driver for many years. In his free time he loved to spend time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and boating. Bill is survived by his father, William Justice Sr, 2 sons, Robert (Brenna) Justice and William Justice III; 2 daughters, Tracy Justice and Vanessa Bone; 2 grandchildren, Kaleb and Zander Justice; 3 brothers, Howard (Sue) Justice and their children Olivia & Dakota Justice, Paul (Rachel) Justice and their children, Hannah and Timothy Justice and Mark (Vanessa) Justice and his 2 children Amelia and Amanda Justice. He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna; a sister, Kimberly Justice; a son, Mark Reeves; a niece Megan Justice; and a granddaughter, LaLon Justice A family gathering was held at Bill’s home located at 114 Deronda Street in Amery starting at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2016. Cheryl R. Logan age 55 of Soldotna, Alaska, formerly of Clear Lake, WI, died unexpectedly at her home on April 11, 2016. Cheryl Rae Logan was born on July 18, 1960, in Amery, WI, the daughter of Wayne and Janet (Hellum) Logan. She grew up in the Clear Lake area, attended South Elementary School and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1978. After graduation, Cheryl worked at Phillips Plastics in New Richmond, WI, for the New Richmond Police Department and later at 3M in Stillwater, MN. She furthered her education at WITC and became an administrative assistant, moving to Alaska in 2008. She was currently working at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna, AK. Cheryl loved an adventure and originally planned to stay in Alaska for only one year. She wound up staying 8 years. Cheryl loved living in Alaska, making many friends and enjoying the beauty of nature there. She was an avid reader, enjoyed the outdoors, white water rafting, growing flowers, and loved taking care of her pets. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Cheryl is preceded in death by grandparents; Alvin and Amy Hellum and Clarence and Myrtle Logan. Survived by parents, Wayne and Janet Logan of Clear Lake; sister, Diane (Maynard) Paulson of Clear Lake; nephews, Cory, Jeff, Aaron and Mitch Paulson; grand niece and nephew, Hailey and Brett Paulson; aunts, uncles, family and friends. Funeral Services were at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2016 at First Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, with Rev. Bryan Anderson officiating. Music was provided by Brian Wick. Casketbearers were Aaron Paulson, Jeff Paulson, Cory Paulson, Mitch Paulson, Diane Paulson, and Maynard Paulson. Interment will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery in Clear Lake.
