THINK ABOUT HOW WORDS MAKE YOU FEEL

Layla, 4th Grade, Buhrer Dual Language

Think about how words make you feel Funny, smart, pretty, strong

My heart is glowing

The words stay in your heart for so long.

Think about how words make you feel

You can’t do hard things, you ’ re ugly, you ’ re lame.

Think about how words make you feel Motivated, excited, thrilled, happy

My heart is burning The excitement of the day makes my heart snappy.

Think about how words make you feel Helpful, caring, generous, kind

My heart is beaming As I leave you, keep these worlds in your mind. My heart is crumbling Soon my heart will go out like a flame.
