Elementary Empty Bowls & Spring Concert Elementary students presented their Empty Bowls, and performed a great Spring concert.

Middle & High School Empty Bowls and Spring Concert

onday night was the Middle & High School Empty

Bowls and Spring Concert. Our School Band and Honor Choir were in charge of performing an excellent concert while we enjoyed beautiful pieces of art.

Friendship Club Meeting Advisors Ms. Nena Aguilar, and Mrs. Cristiana Baide organized the end of the year meeting for the Friendship club. Kids enjoyed of fun games and some snacks.

The objective of the Friendship Club is to help the kids gain social skills by playing games and interacting with different students.

First Grade Earth Day Assembly

First grade students had an assembly where they planted some trees, and learned about bees to commemorate Earth Day.

Expert in bees, Ricardo DĂ­az, was the guest speaker who inspired our students to take care of the bees and the environment.

Don Castor from Larach & Cia with the 3rd grade Dance Club who performed a song in the assembly.

XXVII ABSH Volleyball Tournament We celebrated the XXVII ABSH Volleyball Tournament in our school. We want to congratulate all our teams for their hard work and dedication. Thank you eagles for always making us proud. (Coming Soon ABSH Newsletter)

Alumni Corner CARMEN DÁNZILO (’06) Alumna Carmen Dánzilo (’06) is a fashion icon in Honduras. After her graduation from AST she went to Florida International University . She has always had a passion for fashion, leading her to start her clothing brand called Morena Mia in 2014. A year later she changed her brand name to Larubeya which means “by the seashore” in Garifuna. Many of her pieces have been featured in magazines like Estilo and are 100% Honduran.

She is currently working in two projects, Larubeya being one of them. The other project is her custom made brand, Carmen Danzilo, in which she designs formal gowns. We are proud to call Carmen an Eagle and to have her represent us in the world of fashion. }
