2nd Grade Wax Museum (ES) 2nd graders hosted a living Wax Museum to practice the habitats of the world as part of the science class curricular activities. Students, parents and staff members had the chance to visit: Ocean, Arctic, Rainforest and Savanah. Congrats to the teachers and room moms!

It was an incredible morning for our farewell students!to say goodbye to food at an emotional Elementary School. BIG thanks to 5th grade homeroom teachers, room moms, and Character Ed. Advisors Mrs. Nena Alvarado and Mrs. Gabbi Simรณn for a great party!

4th and 5th Grade Field Day (ES) 4TH and 5th graders had a fun and competitive Field Day on Friday morning.

Our students demonstrated great sportsmanship and sports skills, it was so much fun!

Shark Tank: Innovations and Inventions Projects (MS)

Invention education is highly passionate because it allows kids to solve problems they care about. Our MS students are working hard to produce incredible products while we encourage them to think creatively, find innovative solutions, and evaluate current status and find better alternatives if needed.

Our students presented their projects to a jury to try to sell their product like in a real life Shark Tank show.

Eagle Tots Closing Ceremony (PS) Congratulations to Eagle Tot’s coordinator Ms. Lilia Laitano, and coach Mr. Brayan Torres for this incredible Eagle Tots season!

Elementary Carnival (ES) Elementary had an incredible Saturday at the ES Carnival. This Carnival is for the students who had academic and disciplinary excellence throughout the school year.

Thanks to Elementary Principal Mrs. Lourdes Vides for making this event possible, it was so much fun!

During the school year our students learned different art techniques and they demonstrated their talent in this amazing exhibit. Congratulations to our young artists and to their teacher Ms. MarĂ­a Elena San Martin!

AST’s Got Talent Singers, dancers, stand-up comedians were some of the magnificent performances we saw at the AST’s Got Talent. Congratulations to all the participants. You were incredible!

Bible Club Fieldtrip to Valle de Angeles Bible Club leaded by Ms. Maria Elena Matamoros, went to Fundaciรณn Hogar los Angeles to give donations of food, basic needs, and more important to share a lovely moment with the people in the foundation. The foundation is an orphanage for people with physical and mental disabilities.

Alumni Corner Gustavo Corrales (‘92) Alumnus Gustavo Corrales is a well-known ophthalmologist that has developed surgical instruments that have made surgical procedures faster and safer.

He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras. After his medical degree, he completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Eye and Ear Hospital, followed by a fellowship in cornea and external diseases at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Gustavo is a board-certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He's also a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and he’s affiliated with Johns Hopkins - Sibley Memorial Hospital. He practices out of Vision Consultants and Surgeons, located in Falls Church, Virginia. As a specialist in cataracts, cornea and pterygium he is passionate about helping patients all over the world and he travels abroad to participate in medical missions that provide eye-sight to patients in remote areas, in Honduras and India. Last week, Gustavo was in Catacamas, Olancho in an ophthalmology mission helping others!
