1st grade Read a Thon Pizza Party First grade had a Pizza Party as a recognition for reading more than 4,000 books in the month of March. We had special guest ‘’The Cat in the Hat’’ while the teachers were dressed as students and the students like teachers. It was so much fun! *Special thanks to Andres Kafati and all the moms that helped organized this party.

Middle School Monthly Assembly In the April MS assembly, they recognized the winners of the Shark Tank Inventions as well as all the students that helped out as moderators in the AASCA Middle School Sportsmanship Festival. The assembly concluded with Special Guest Jose Rivera who talked about ‘‘The Importance of Honesty’’

High School Honors Assembly We recognized our High School students for their academic excellence and overall school involvement in both the second and third quarter! Well done high schoolers!

IB (12) Chemistry Field Trip IB Chemistry students went on a field trip to ‘‘Laboratorios Pharmaetica’’ which is a fantastic facility with new equipment who are producing more than 100 different products for Honduran companies. *Special thanks to Jovhanka Peña (’93) for allowing our students take part of this enriching visit.

Kinder Country Visits MĂŠxico, USA, Italy and France were the countries that our Kinder students interpreted, learned about, and visited during their Country visits week. Our little eagles had a great learning experience and most important, they had a lot of fun.

PTO Bingo Night Friday night was the awaited PTO Bingo. There were a lot of great prices and everyone had a lot of fun. Thank you PTO for you great work!

Alumni Corner CAROLINA ATALA (’12) Alumna Carolina Atala (’12) is a young entrepreneur with a great passion for yoga and health. After graduating in 2012, she continued her studies at American University in Washington D.C. where she obtained a Communications Degree. She has decided to follow her dreams and open her very own Yoga Studio called ‘‘Flow Yoga’’. In her studio she offers Yoga and Meditation classes for all ages. We invite everyone that wants to relax and take Yoga sessions to go to Flow Yoga. You can follow them in social media @flowyogahn. We congratulate Carolina for this great achievement and we wish her nothing but the best in her professional endeavors. Thank you for making all eagles proud!
