2nd Grade Talk Crisaq (eS) Second graders attended an educational conference about burn awareness as part of their Responsibility Program. It was an interactive speech where the children participated actively by painting, dancing and answering questions about this important topic.

The Character Education Department organized a conference for our Elementary It was an incredible morning for our students!

School parents titled La Edad de Oro en la Formación de los Hijos. This great discussion was given by Mr. Róger Martínez Miralda.

Opera Carmen Five of our Eagles had the opportunity to be part of Georges Bizet’s Carmen. We are really proud of our students as they did an outstanding job performing in this amazing masterpiece. Our 10th grade students and 12th grade Drama Class went to Teatro Manuel Bonilla to support their classmates and enjoy this great opera.

IB French donation to Alianza Francesa (hs) IB French class gave a donation to the Alianza Francesa de Tegucigalpa, funds raised by selling crepes. This donation will go to La Casa Hogar Madre Leonarda in Limรณn in the department of Colรณn, Honduras to help the project Dar Vida a las Paredes del Orfanato.

Special Services teachers Workshop on Inclusion Special Services teachers participated in a very enriching workshop on Inclusion offered by educator and winner of the 2017 ‘‘Outstanding Educator Award at the Annual Families for Effective Autism Treatment of Washington,’’ Erin Greager.

Robotics Club Visit Robot & Drone Challenge 2019 Robotics Club had the opportunity to assist the Robot & Drone Challenge 2019 last Saturday.

Days before the event our students received a visit from IHCIETI promoting the competition. Our Eagles saw how a real battle robot and race drone look like, and they had the chance to interact with them.

Alumni Corner Pamie Marinakys (2006) Pamie Marinakys, a young Alumna that is flying high with her entrepreneurship and marketing skills.

Pamie obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Graphic Design from Savannah College of Arts and Design (SCAD), and a Master’s Degree in Textile and Surface Design from Instituto Europeo di Design in Madrid, Spain. She is very talented in a lot of arts including graphic design, textiles, marketing, and painting. Pamie taught some classes at Unitec in the fashion department, and with her two sisters is co-founder of Enrollarte. Enrollarte is a brand for creative and unique fashion design, specializing in bathing suits, cover ups and ready to wear collections.

Pamie has imported the franchise HUGO to Honduras, in which she is Marketing Manager and contributes to the public image of the brand.

Pamie will be one of the guest speakers at the IX Congreso Nacional de Turismo de Honduras this November 20th.
