Elementary Flag Day Asssembly Our Spanish Department celebrated Flag Day on Monday September 3rd, 2018.

ES STUCO members, led by advisor Mrs. Gaby Simón, marched with the cadets in a beautiful ceremony which marked the beginning of our Independence Month.

A group of students from Mrs. Anita Román’s Estudios Sociales class explained the meaning of the stars in the Honduran Flag.

STUCO Flag Day Assembly (MS/ HS)

STUCO members did an outstanding job as they raised the Flag to commemorate the Independence month. Way to go STUCO! This year’s message was all about taking action and helping fellow Hondurans achieve their dreams.

College Guidance Presentation Our High School Counselors led a workshop about the kind of support our students get through their college applications and how their parents can help them in these stressful times. HOUSES – First Competition of the Year Let the games begin‌Students showcased their Eagle Spirit in their first day of Houses. It was tons of fun!

Congrats to all House Parents and House Coordinators: Mrs. Natalie Arguello, Ms. Calyanne Crouch and Mr. Javier Tamashiro.

MS national and International students showed their patriotism and Eagle Pride during their first day of houses. Come check it out in the MS Hallway!

Our Spanish Department members were caught in action making a Honduran tradition: Patriotic Altar, to celebrate the Independence month.

Operation Smile Children Day Celebration Operation Smile Club went to Pespire to celebrate the ‘‘Día del Niño’’ to 700 students of Centro Básico Monseñor Turcios. The kids enjoyed the time spent with the AST students as well as the candy gift bags and pizzas.

ABSH Athletic Retreat Selected students went to Lago de Yojรณa to the ABSH Athletic Retreat to represent our school in this fun event in which Schools from all over the country gather around to interact and demonstrate sport spirit.

Alumni Corner Idarela & Victoria Alvarez (10’, 12’) The Alvarez sisters are exploring the entrepreneur field. Idarela, a graduate from Trinity University, and Victoria, from Texas Christian University, put in practice all their knowledge and experience to open their first store. ‘‘AVOKA’’ is a Concept Store where ideas and brands are put together to enhance the shoppers experience. Inside AVOKA, you’ll find various Honduran brands belonging to young entrepreneurs. We invite everyone to visit their store in La Galería in Tegucigalpa and follow their page @AVOKA on social media.
