Let the competition be a celebration of your hard work, your talent, and your dedication to the art of music.
And speaking of celebrations, don’t forget to share those shining moments! Visit the AGM photo booth and take pictures with your cell phones – then share your AGM memories by tagging us on Facebook @americanguild or on Twitter and Instagram @AGMcontests or #agmglr. Yours in music,
Richard A. Chizmadia Contest Manager Executive Director Gina Selvaggi Contest DirectorWelcome to a weekend that promises to be a remarkable journey through the world of music, filled with performances that will undoubtedly leave us all inspired. I am thrilled to see so many passionate individuals gather for our music competition.
Your dedication to your craft is the reason we are all here today. It is your love for music, your countless hours of practice, and your courage to perform that fuel our mission. This weekend is a celebration of your hard work and a testament to your commitment to excellence in the art of music.
I want each of you to know how proud we are to have you as part of this event. You are not just participants in a competition; you are vital members of a community that values the transformative power of music. Through your performances, you contribute to a legacy of artistic expression that transcends language, culture, and time.
As you prepare to take the stage, I encourage you to focus on the joy that music brings into our lives. Competitions, by their nature, highlight individual achievement, but the true essence of this weekend is about much more than awards. It is about sharing your passion, learning from one another, and celebrating the beauty of music together.
Remember, success is not solely defined by the outcome of this competition. Success is having the courage to perform, the determination to improve, and the willingness to be a part of something larger than oneself. Each note you play and each piece you perform contribute to the rich tapestry of our musical community.
Let this weekend be a memorable experience that encourages you to continue pursuing your musical dreams. Whether on stage or in the audience, let us support one another, fostering an environment of respect, learning, and inspiration.
Thank you for bringing your talents to this competition. Your performances are a gift to all who have the privilege to listen, and I am genuinely excited to witness the incredible music you will create.
Best of luck, and more importantly, enjoy every moment of this musical adventure.
