meet Legally Red

Legally Red is more than just a clothing brand. It’s the creative collaboration of mother-daughter duo, Yehudis Schwartz and Zahava Oppenheimer. The brand name itself carries a story within it—a blend of legal expertise and a passion for fashion.

“I was working as a lawyer, but didn't love what I was doing,” shares Zahava. “I wanted to do something a little more creative.”

Zahava teamed up with her mother, who had fashion industry experience, to evolve the private label business into their own brand. It truly brought their shared vision and love of fashion to life.

“The most special part of working together are the moments that we share as we create new pieces. We can just be in my backyard and have loads and loads of fabric swatches on top of us as we talk through options.”

With a focus on quality and elegance, Legally Red specializes in dresses for simchas, weddings, and shabbos wear. The brand sets itself apart by emphasizing impeccable fit and premium fabrics.

“When we design, we really focus on creating something that’s flattering, that when you put it on you love it.”

Zahava was exposed to her mother's love for fashion from a young age. This early influence, coupled with her own creative inclinations, laid the foundation for Legally Red's unique aesthetic.

“I just love all the colors and patterns we’ve been working with lately,” says Zahava. “One of my favorite pieces is a marble two-piece set that's a false wrap skirt and a matching blouse, it’s so flattering. I also love this dress we designed with greens and blues and a pop of gold.”

As Legally Red continues to make its mark in the fashion industry, the brand remains dedicated to creating garments that are unique, stylish, and a pleasure to wear.

“It’s so special that we are one of the featured brands at THE ADDRESS, and then even, a step further. It’s always such an amazing experience to be at a simcha and see women wearing our dresses and enjoying them.”

meetWaterdale Collection

It all began with a simple yet profound idea: to create a line that blends traditional Judaica with modern designs. It was through creativity and unwavering determination that Waterdale Collection evolved into a household name. Today, Waterdale Collection stands as a cornerstone in home styling, as a valued part of THE ADDRESS.

"We design our products to be both beautiful and functional," shares Rivky. "They are more than mere thank-you gifts or home decor; they serve a purpose in a Jewish home."

Established in 2015, Waterdale Collection offers a range of lucite tabletop art, essential Judaica, stunning wall art, elegant home decor, and more. Owned by Rivky Wachtfogel, this innovative line had a small, yet impactful start.

"I started as a graphic designer," shares Rivky. "One of my services included creating acrylic plexiglass plaques for dinners. When neighbors admired them in my home, they asked for their own."

Initially launching with just two products, the line quickly expanded. "We rebranded from Home Modele to Waterdale, signaling a shift towards an artistic brand, similar to Jonathan Adler or Michael Aram." Waterdale faced challenges early on as stores favored traditional Judaica. "A decade ago, you couldn't buy Judaica pieces like this in gift stores other than maybe a potpourri sachet,” recalls Rivky.

To grow awareness, the brand had to take a bold leap of faith. "Armed with samples, we visited stores, going door to door, personally meeting with each owner to ask them to display our line and appreciate its beauty.”

Today, Waterdale Collection’s lucite creations range from asher yatzar displays, to hand-painted serveware and holiday-inspired decor. They have a robust website, which positioned them well over the COVID pandemic, when everyone was spending Pesach at home and they saw their sales sky-rocket. “Every step, even the small victories have been thrilling and memorable,” says Rivky.

Waterdale Collection's exquisite pieces can be found at THE ADDRESS at American Dream, where a dedicated section houses tabletop essentials and radiant lucite art. "A single piece can truly transform a room," Rivky says. "Whether it’s a stunning charger or new napkin holders, they can elevate your space effortlessly."
