atelierelia

atelierelia began as a solution to an issue faced by many architecture students –myself and my peers alike. in most architectural drawings human figures are needed to show the function of a designed space and the scale of it. most importantly, they allow viewers to envision themselves in the space, spurring imagination that completes the experience of the project. to reduce the precious time taken away from the project to find human figures perfectly tailored to the design style of the project presentation, an archive of these vector human figures were created.

in view of mass use when these were released on industry-recongised platforms on both commission and collaboration instances, the vectors were also designed with the base outline of each character included, allowing users to have their own input on the colour palette so as to match the design style of their projects.

atelierelia is a personal creative venture that extends beyond digital illustrations; under this brand is also a floral arrangement project operated on an ad-hoc basis.

the featured set of promotional pictures released on Instagram stories were designed for valentine’s day of 2022. this particular event was a collaboration with a close friend and associate. the graphics were designed independently, whereas the selection of the colour palette, sizes and textures of the flowers themselves reflect both our design visions.

the subsequent pictures are of previous events, designed and directed independently.
