I completed the 6 year Higher Surgical Training Programme in Otolaryngology under the West of Scotland Postgraduate Committee. This involved rotating through various hospitals in the region, and includedsubspeciality training in the following:
Microscopic Ear Surgery at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Stobill Hospital
Neuro-otology & skull base surgery at the Institute of Neurological Sciences, Glasgow Cochlear Implantation at the Scottish National Centre for Cochlear Implants, Crosshouse Hospital , Kilmarnock
Paediatric ENT at Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Yorkhill, Glasgow Endoscopic Sinus Surgery at Victoria Infirmary, Gartnaval Hospital
Basic Surgical Training ( January 1992 to October 1995 )
My basic surgical training was composed of 2 years of Otorhinolaryngology and 20 months of General Surgical training.
