PRESIDING ELDER ANICA HOWARD
Rev. Anica Howard is an Itinerant Elder of the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AMEC). She serves as the Presiding Elder of the Nashville District. In addition, for over 11 years, she has provided Administrative Support to her denomination’s District office where she serves as the 13th District Administrator for the past 3 Bishops of the 13th Episcopal District of the AME Church that encompasses Tennessee and Kentucky. Prior to serving as the Presiding Elder, Rev. Anica pastored 3 churches in Middle Tennessee, New Salem AME Church (Nashville), Winters Chapel AME Church (Lebanon) and Mt. Zion AME Church (Centerville).
Rev. Howard brought a wealth of experience from the business sector with her into her current ministry. Her previous positions have included Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the National Black MBA Association, Executive Director of XANTUS Corporation (a healthcare HMO), and Founder and CEO of Miragent Corporation (a telecommunications sales organization).

Rev. Anica has numerous degrees including a Bachelor of Science degree from Spelman College, Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, MBA from Duke University, and Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University.
Rev. Howard has volunteered her time in numerous Boards and Civic organizations. She believes that God blesses us so that we can bless others, therefore, we should use our God given gifts to help our community and individuals in need.
