Introducing SHEQ 24/7 Together 2023 - 2026.

It’s been several extraordinary years since we launched our initial integrated SHEQ Strategy and

we’ve made significant strides in progress, not just for our business but for the wider industry, with our forward-thinking, SHEQ vision and objectives.

We should all take great pride in what we’ve achieved so far, and use this to drive the next stage of our SHEQ journey.

I am excited to share this, our new three-year strategy, which is underpinned by our past successes.

It represents a transformative step forward, embracing innovative thinking and going beyond

conventional methods. It prioritises your safety and health and aims to enhance our environment through sustainable design, effective procurement and forward-thinking working practices.

Our SHEQ Strategy is built upon and driven by data and insights, it embodies our workforce,

leadership, management and SHEQ professionals working together 24/7, it complements our customer priorities and our continual improvement goals.

I am confident that we can achieve our goal of delivering exceptional results while

fostering a culture of care and responsibility in a way that brings real, lasting change for our colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

Looking ahead: our focus areas We want to make sure that we take the right actions to deliver against our SHEQ vision and commitments.

We sought the views of our colleagues, looking at performance, analysing statistics and using recognised culture and risk maturity models to define the areas that will deliver further enhancements in our SHEQ performance over the next three years.

We have identified six bespoke focus areas, that offer the maximum potential to build on the excellent

foundations we have made for SHEQ. These are critial to how we drive further advancements from a SHEQ perspective for our colleagues, our customers and our supply chain.

Our leadership sponsors will involve those who share our passion for what we do and will deliver innovation for industry wide continuous improvement

Excellence in SHEQ will be considered from the outset in everything we do, with risks to health, safety and the environment eliminated wherever possible

We will leave a positive legacy for the people we work with, the communities we work in and the environment in which we operate

We will challenge current industry working practices and big risks to drive technological solutions to remove people from harms reach

Welcome to our Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Strategy 2023/26.

We’ve come a long way since the launch of our first integrated SHEQ Strategy which has enabled us to drive a landscape of continual improvement, drive out risk, increase competence and become a forward-thinking learning organisation.

We've built solid foundations and a culture that supports our colleagues to succeed by ensuring SHEQ 24/7 Together is at the heart of everything we do.

Our strategy for the next three years has been developed through insights derived from detailed analysis of our SHEQ systems, incident and near miss analysis, industry innovations and risk maturity outputs from the respected Risk Management Maturity Model (RM3).

We have developed six business specific focus areas, each sponsored by a member of the

senior leadership team. Each focus area supplements and supports our SHEQ vision and ensures we are continually improving in areas that offer the maximum benefit to our colleagues, our customers, and the environments we work in.

I am confident that by working Together 24/7 our new focus areas will deliver

excellence throughout the next three years, and we will see further improvement, impact, and innovation to drive our vision forward.

We plan to achieve this by using the Behavioural Science toolkits until this approach becomes a business-as-usual way for you to create safe and healthy workplaces.

We’ll also develop and establish methods to improve leadership interaction and capabilities that go beyond traditional workplace health and safety ideas.

We’ll invest time and effort in prioritising the identification and correction of ‘At Risk’

environments and behaviours whilst delivering world class engagement throughout the business ensuring SHEQ 24/7 Together delivers collective improvements.

Embedding our Behavioural Science initiative and tool kits to enable a business as usual approach

Continuously targeting reduced-risk behaviours, especially for our at-risk colleagues

approach to quality management. Through implementation of innovation and best practice we will ensure quality remains at the forefront of our work activities. This

combined with our risk-based assurance model ensures that we are confident in our safe and effective delivery.

This three-year strategy seeks to build on our quality culture and introduce more lean systems of work to help you. We will empower and harness ideas from our colleagues via the ‘Bright Ideas' initiative, ensuring that we continually improve. We will also embrace the industry leading ISO 9004 model working towards excellence.

Our new approach gives stakeholders confidence in our unwavering commitment

dust related occupation health to further protect you and our contractor's by identifying best practices in technical innovations, processes, tools and materials.

We'll deliver controls in excess of national standards reducing risk and driving lasting change.

We will ensure that everyone working for AmcoGiffen is

protected from highest ranking work place ill health risks by

incorporating industry leading standards of occupational

hygiene and health provisions.

Incorporate our at-risk, reduced-risk approach into occupational health, through the use of our innovative app

Introduce innovative vibration and dust mapping tools
