Members raise issue with industry-specific Council or Govt Affairs Council.
Council leaders draft position paper in consultation with member(s).
If the council finds the issue (a) reasonable and (b) relevant to a number of members, it moves forward.
If the council, board liaison, and members approve, the paper passes to the AMCHAM team.
AMCHAM ED & GA Director edits for tone, formats officially, and sends to Board for advice, edits and approval.
If the Board approves the paper for wider distribution, AMCHAM publishes and circulates.
The Position Paper is formally sent to the relevant dept(s) of the Royal Thai Government, and any meetings are set up as necessary.
The paper is also shared with the AMCHAM membership
At AMCHAM, we are proud of what our member companies do to give back to Thailand and Thai society, making the business and social environment better for all of us.

Companies that meet the benchmark of excellence are recognized at our annual CSR Awards Dinner, where our Special Awards are presented by the high level Thai and US government officials.
If your company engages in sustainable business efforts, we encourage you to apply for this prestigious recognition program. Read more here.
