The MAP Certificate is a one-year program designed to deepen students’ knowledge of the Christian faith, challenge them to understand the world around them through a Christian lens, and to practice their faith in service and devotion. From the classroom to the residence to the volleyball court, Ambrose prioritizes spiritual life and the holistic development of its student body. Through chapel services, mentoring, and events throughout the year, students have opportunities to deepen their faith.

Residence

The University’s residences provide a supportive and engaging environment that enhances the overall Ambrose experience. Students who choose to reside on campus enjoy the convenience of being just steps away from classes, the library, and other campus facilities. Being this close helps foster a sense of community and connection. Living in residence often leads to meaningful relationships and lifelong friendships with fellow students, as well as opportunities to participate in a variety of social activities.

The residences also provide a safe and secure living environment, with live-in residence staff available to offer support and guidance.

Athletics and Campus Recreation

Whether you’re on the team or supporting them, at Ambrose we’re all Lions.

Our Athletics department boasts a range of teams including soccer, futsal, volleyball, and basketball in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference. Alternatively, we offer intramurals and recreational sport events throughout the year, open to all students, or you can come out and cheer on your friends at Lions games.

Ambrose University is committed to engaging with and investing in Calgary and the local community. Students begin their engagement through work-integrated learning often leading to ongoing involvement upon graduation.
